The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi is the largest aquarium in the Middle East and is home to 46,000 animals spread across 10 zones spanning from the tropical waters of the Pacific and freshwaters of the Amazon through to the frozen ice caps of the Arctic and the caves of the Mediterranean.The ten-zone theme hosts more than 300 species The aquarium houses more than 200 sharks and rays, representing 25 different species. All of the animals are obtained according to cites guidelines and are cared for by a team of 80 sea-life experts. Easily accessible from Abu Dhabi island and adjacent to the neighbouring five-star hotels, the development is in a prime location for both residents and tourists. With no high-rise buildings and towers in the immediate vicinity, Al Qana offers a breath of fresh air with uninterrupted spectacular views across the waters to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the nearby Memorial Park.

- No children under the age of 12 will be admitted to The National Aquarium unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or above.
- Kids must be above 1 years old to participate in the activity, Children below 3 free of charge
- Not applicable for people of determinations and not applicable for pregnant guests
- Guests must be able to ascend and descend stairs to access the boat area
- All Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, not for resale and will become automatically void on any transfer for value.
- Adherence with the Health & Safety signage posted around the premises will insure your wellbeing.
- Guests must be dressed appropriately at all times whilst at The National Aquarium – this includes wearing a top and shoes. If guests are wearing clothing that is indecent or likely to cause offence in any way, they will not be permitted entry.
- Tampering with fire alarm system and/or any life support system is not allowed and will result in fines and penalties. The only transport devices which are permitted within The National Aquarium are wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
- Unnecessary noise (such as that from the use of radio sets and other electrical equipment), or any behavior likely to cause annoyance to other guests or confusion of any kind is not permitted in any part of The National Aquarium.
- Pets or animals of any nature are expressly prohibited in The National Aquarium
- Smoking (including of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside and in premises owned and/or operated by The National Aquarium.
- All items, belongings and other property brought onto the premises by guests shall be at such guest's own risk and The National Aquarium accepts no liability for the loss or damage to such property.

A fantastic aquarium and big undertaking of preserving sea life from the region and educate about the marine world. It is fantastic what UAE and Abu Dhabi is doing when they want to achieve something. Very nice to spend a few hours there

It was fun exploring these Themed Zones inside Aquarium Journey. It was well organized, neat and maintained well. Kudos to the staff that are super friendly. Nice display in the gift shop where staff helps me choose selected items for souvenirs. It was fun during the tour and I highly recommend it to all my friends.

Amazing experience for kids and adult! Lots of edutainment throughout the different sections of the aquarium
If you’re looking for an adventure in Abu dhabi, highly recommending Clymb both indoor climbing and indoor skydiving. It’s worth the ay for the experience. Staff are very knowledgeable and really knows their stuff which you can learn a lot. Safety is one of their priorities, you will always be secured. The facilities are triple A grade. Thanks to Karlo Magpantay from indoor climbing for helping me a lot as a first timer. Special mention to John from indoor flying! Dude this guy knows how to show you a good time with the activity itself.

My son who is 3.5 years of age had an awesome experience at clymbe Abu Dhabi. A big thank you to coach John who made it a great experience for him.
