Joe was a fantastic guide. He had a plan for our visit, and guided us through 19th Century art, weaving in history and making it come alive, all while giving us new appreciation for the works we saw. He was flexible, personable, and we truly enjoyed our time with him. We would recommend this tour and hope to tour other museums with Joe in the future.
Hugo was an amazing guide. He was friendly, personable, funny and SO knowledgeable. He had such an in depth knowledge of the history of Paris and art and wove the stories together so beautifully - it brought the art to life in a whole new way. I learned so much!
I learned so much about impressionistic art. Our guide was very friendly and patient and showed us the important pieces.
Hugo, our guide, was not only knowledgeable, but made the experience fun for my teenage granddaughter. She wants to learn more now.
Christophe was an excellent, engaging guide taking us through the context and history of that period of French art history. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.
I went to Paris and visited the Musée d'Orsay, and I'm so glad I did. I'm not a huge art expert, but this museum was so easy to enjoy. The building is spectacular – it used to be a train station and you can really feel the history. The giant clock is a highlight! The paintings are bright, colorful, and easy to appreciate. I recognized so many famous works from school and movies. It's also not too big, so I didn't get tired or lost like I did at the Louvre. A perfect afternoon activity in Paris!
Fantastic experience. Our guide Manu Fontanesi was very organized and provided an outstanding overview of each piece of art he wished to showcase. There is so much to see and Manu provided the right amount of detail, answered questions and showed a genuine desire for us to connect with the art and understand the background behind its creation. Overall excellent experience and I highly recommend!
High quality, very knowledgeable guide. Emanuele is not only very knowledgeable and comfortable with the vast collection in the Musee d’Orsay, but his, but his warmth and enthusiasm comes through effortlessly as he takes us through the collection.
Loved the museum and Lilya was great! She was knowledgable and knew her way around… a great tour. The D’Orsay was less crowded and offered a more personal experience with many memorable pieces of art.
Our guide was excellent—knowledgeable, professional and open to any and all questions. The museum is well worth your time in Paris!
