Lorenzo was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I was already well versed in Medici history, but still learned a lot and it was super helpful to have him to provide context to the pieces we were experiencing.
Nadia our tour guide was quite nice and knowledgeable. We were a small group of six people. It was difficult to hear and there were no headsets given out to hear clearly. They tour also had a bit of Riccardi over lap that was confusing but all in all it was good. I loved visiting the palace.

Appreciate the work and commitment done by the company and our guide. After watching “The Medici” series it was really fascinating to see their palace in real life and also to know some more information about the main rulers of Florence back at that time. Highly recommend to everyone!

Since tickets on the website were sold out for the day I wanted to visit the Palace, I booked this tour so I could get in and see it. The tour itself was not very good though. Despite the title, facts from the Medici tv show were never mentioned. Most of the tour focused on other owners of the palace and not the Medici family. I personally didn’t like this tour because it was in French and English. Two other ladies were with me on this tour and they spoke French, so the tour guide always started speaking French in each room. She spent most of her time and energy in French, prioritizing other visitors, and then shortened the tour for me in English. The others had time to walk around the rooms after hearing the descriptions in French and were able to soak in the history, while I was rushed into the next room as soon as the English description was given. If you only have one day in Florence and this is what you want to see, you can buy this tour to gain entry to the Palace. I would recommend doing your own research in advance so that you know what you will be seeing in the Palace. The tour itself wasn’t very good because of the switching back and forth from French to English.
