Worth a visit for a relaxing few hours

This is a beautiful place but not well managed as an attraction. The road is bad in wet weather once you leave the main Arusha-Moshi highway and apparently the locals remove the signposts hoping you will then ask and pay one of them to be a guide for you... Once you get there the water itself is a beautiful blue but the accompanying facilities are pretty basic - uncomfortable wooden benches and poor quality toilets. You can buy food such as nice chips and meat. That said the children really enjoyed the swimming and jumping into the water from the swinging rope. There are rubber rings (car inner-tubes) available for those who can't swim.

great experience

such a fun way to spend a day in arusha! our guide was lovely and left us to do our own thing at the springs, then met up with us again for lunch. the lunch provided was very good and we could choose when we wanted to eat and how long we wanted to spend at each place. the waterfall and bridge we visited afterward was fun too, but a bit of a tricky hike down. it would have been nice to do the waterfall first and the springs last so we could cool off after getting hot and sweaty. asante sana for a great day!
