The Grand Canyon of Europe and Its Lavender Fields Small group

Stéphane made the experience what it was! I loved seeing the countryside and learning all about Nice and the surrounding area from him. The sightseeing was gorgeous and it was a perfect small group. 10/10 would do it again

We had the most beautiful day in the company of our guide Stéphane. Impressed by his knowledge and understanding of the region. To our disappointment, the lavender fields had just been cut, but nothing was beyond his reach, and he found us a field that was still intact to take our photos. Thanks again!! I warmly recommend this tour for families or friends. Easy, friendly, and the landscapes are simply breathtaking.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this day trip, which included pickup and drop off at our vacay rental. Our guide Daniel was friendly and shared history insights on our way. We especially loved the views of the Gorge and the stop to see the lavender fields in the Valensole area. Be aware that the drive includes many winding roads and switchbacks, so prepare if you tend to motion sickness. Our group of eight plus Daniel fit comfortably in the vehicle and the AC was solid on a day of very high heat.

I really enjoyed this day trip. All of the stops were exactly as planned with some room for spontaneous fun along the way. The mountain roads are VERY winding so you if get car sick, this might be a trip you want to skip. If you can stand the car trip, the views and total experience is worth it.

This was a great tour - all sites were beautiful and Daniel was a wonderful guide. The Gorge didn’t disappoint, one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen!

Catherine was great. She is very knowledgeable about the history and legends of the area. All of the spots we visited were excellent. We had free time in the villages. While it would have been great to spend even more time in the villages, this tour packs in a lot and there was so much beauty to see. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Ruben was great guided! He was professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip itself was amazing! The views along the way, the lavender fields and the refreshing lake for a swim at the end topped it all.

We would like to express a truly honest recommendation. Our guide was Ruben, and it was a pleasant and wonderful trip from start to finish. You are picked up from your accommodation, and it immediately begins with many beautiful views and stops. There are plenty of souvenir and snack stops, as well as the opportunity to visit a restroom. If you want to spend your time by the lake and not in Moustier, you should buy souvenirs in Castellane. The lavender field was the absolute highlight, and we could simply take our time and take photos. The van was absolutely luxurious and well air-conditioned, but not too cold. At no time did we feel rushed. A big thank you.

Catherine, our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour had multiple stops, some just photo ops and others for a longer period. Very beautiful scenery and cute little villages. There was an option to swim at the lake. A few people on this tour rented a paddle boat. After the last stop it’s about 2 hours back to Nice. It is a long day, but worth it. However, I would not recommend doing the tour in the middle of a heat wave or if you suffer from care sickness. Lots of twists and turns as you climb the mountain side and it was 33 degrees + humidity.

Look at the schedule provided in the booking, we saw so many beautiful places and were on schedule the entire trip. I loved going with my partner and feel it would also be great with a group of friends. I also recommend getting some anti-nausea meds for the ride because the ride isn’t always smooth. Loved our guide, he was amazing!
