The first stop of the tour will be at the Caldera de Bandama to contemplate this impressive caldera created by the explosion of the last volcano in Gran Canaria, and to enjoy the impressive views of the north, but also to discover the secrets of the Second World War that hide this place.
The tour continues through the north of the island. Thanks to the eruptions of the volcanoes, the soil of this area is perfect for growing grapes and producing the exquisite Canarian wine. During your visit to the wine region of Gran Canaria, you will learn about wine production and have the opportunity to visit the vineyards, the wine museum and taste local wine and cheese. NOT AVAILABLE FOR TOURS HELD ON SUNDAYS, alternatively, it is offered only for wine and cheese tasting.
To finish our tour, we will take a walk through the old town of Las Palmas, where we will discover the beauty of this neighborhood, visiting its most beautiful and interesting places, you will learn about its architecture, history, and also why it was the model for the construction of the cities of America. From the get go, our guide Israel made us feel relaxed and in safe hands. We had a really interesting trip ours the east side of the island, including La Caldera, a winery at Plaza Perdida and ending in Las Palmas city. Israel is really knowledgeable, has great English and a nice easy style. We loved our day out and would highly recommend it!
