Best horseback riding ever! So great! Everyone so kind amai we were super happy and will definitely be back! Top top top
My partner is a beginner. His horse was difficult and his stable ranch hand was not helpful, caring more about the horse than the rider. A major reason for choosing an end of day ride was to see the Sunset in the Rose and Red Valleys. We were only given what amounted to a very brief photo stop. Total waste of time. Also, I am an intermediate horseman perfectly capable but had little if any opportunity to do more than walk the horse . No trot, canter, or even brief gallop. The ride was boring and a waste of time.
10/10 experience! I was a little nervous at first since some parts of the trail were uneven, but each rider had someone helping guide their horse, which made me feel much more comfortable. My guide was amazing—he kept my horse on the path, matched my pace, and took incredible photos and videos throughout the ride. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and to top it all off, the owner treated everyone to a refreshing drink and delicious watermelon at the end. The staff, the horses, and the scenery were all outstanding. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cappadocia! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cemal and his ranch is an absolute heartfelt recommendation! His warmth and that of his people is hard to surpass for us. We booked a beautiful 2-hour sunset tour and it was an absolute highlight! The horses look great and are very sure-footed, so that really everyone can ride, from beginners to professionals. The ranch is located just outside of Göreme, but that is exactly what we like. We would ride with him again and again. Thank you for these beautiful hours ☀️
Don’t miss out this tour. We were welcomed with delicious apple tea and the excitement of a gentleman (maybe the owner or manager). The views are stunning and the sunset is something else!! The guys took us to the best spot for sunset pictures. Although there was a language barrier - they didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Turkish- you could tell how much they cared and made our experience spectacular! We highly recommend this tour! You won’t regret it!
Cemal Ranch offers a truly amazing, one-of-a-kind horse riding experience in Cappadocia. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced rider, they cater to all levels with care and professionalism. What really stands out is that this is a family-run ranch with a genuine passion for horses and their well-being. Their deep understanding and mastery of horsemanship is evident throughout the experience. The team is incredibly attentive—not just to the riders, but also to the horses and the trail—ensuring everything is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. The ride itself is peaceful and almost therapeutic, allowing you to fully take in the beauty of Cappadocia in a unique and memorable way. I would highly recommend Cemal Ranch as an essential part of any visit to the region.
Thank you Mr Cemal and his crew for being such great hosts. They were welcoming and flexible. Very professional place with many beautiful, well kept horses. Highly recommended.
very very happy!!!!!! So much fun!!! The scenery was beautiful, the guide boy doesn't understand the language but it was funny, bright and cheering!!! It was such a great tour! I want to ride again soon!!!
My 3 weeks holiday got shortened to three days after I rode on a horse here. Was a private tour for my husband and myself. Throughout our tour, the guide intermittently let go of our horses for photo taking and for us to have an experience of real horse riding. We appreciated that but the horses that day didn’t seem to be in the best mood, they wandered off quite a bit and it got quite scary with such behaviour when we were near the valleys. Was thankful that we made it back to the ranch safely, but yet, at the last moment, the horse that I was riding on ran off prematurely before I could get off fully. Our guide was not holding on to the horse and told me he would hold on to me as I got down. However, the horse ran off and I fell, and neither did he manage to hold on to me. I suffered a torn ligament in my ankle and am still nursing the injury today, 2 months down. Owner did not take my injury very seriously even though I was in a lot of pain after the fall, just simply said “I hope you are ok”, and walked off. What happened to me was probably an accident, but if the horses are sufficiently trained, accidents like this are unacceptable as customer’s safety should be a priority, especially in an area full of valleys in cappadocia.
I was taken out as a solo rider with 2 young guides on a 2 hour ride (3-5pm). The horses were all in good condition, shod, and mine (Sehir) was well behaved and responsive. Emir kept an eye on me at first to make sure I could ride, adjusted my stirrups after the first trot, and took dozens of photos at the appropriate places. And then we really had some fun. The tracks were great and we had a few good gallops as well as the calmer walks in amazing scenery. We managed to catch a bit of the sunset before I had to be back. I couldn't stop grinning. Highly recommended. Great value for money.
