Luke was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He has the rare ability to make a tour he has probably given hundreds of times feel personal, engaging, and genuine. His deep knowledge of the area is matched by an obvious passion for it, and that enthusiasm comes through in every story he tells. Learning about Portland’s history and seeing so many parts of the city gave us valuable context and helped us appreciate the rest of our visit even more. The bus was comfortable, the snacks were delicious, and the entire experience was exceptionally well organized. Highly recommended.
It was a very good experience if you want an overview of the city of Portland. The Rose Garden was wonderful. Luke our guide, had a wealth of knowledge about the city and the unique neighborhoods of Portland.
Excellent half day tour to see major sites in Portland. Great start to get an overview of the city. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.
This is a great little tour of Portland! We got what seemed to be off the beaten path a bit and our tour guide did an excellent job recommending other things to do during the rest of our stay. The only disappointment was that we couldn’t get to the Pittock mansion overlook because he road was closed, but that certainly wasn’t our guide’s fault. (He did his best to get someone to open it. Also, he brought snacks and donuts, so what’s not to like?)
It was a great tour and Elijah was a great tour guide. We were picked up and brought back to our hotel. He did not rush us and even provided a great coffee and snacks for the group.
The half-day Best of Portland trip is well worth the time to get to see many areas and highlights of the city.
