It is an excellent choice to stay in San Miguel. The facilities are very nice, the beds very comfortable, the food very good and the best is the service. They're all very kind.
The experience was just ok, the guide clearly was making time to wait for another group to go through before us. We wasted almost an hour with the guide extending the same boring topic. We need to ask him to keep up and after that it improved, also at the end we went to the cemetery expecting great closing but since he was late he left us there and go. That was not cool.
This tour is highly informative and the tour guide was friendly. Lots of walking, much of it uphill.
Jalal. is possibly the best tour guide I have encountered in years of traveling. She knew EVERYTHING about the Dia de los Muertos in San Miguel Allende. She was so accommodating of our limitations. We highly recommend her!
Jesús was a wonderful guide. His explanations of the holiday were so personal and authentic that I had tears at once point for the sweetness of the holiday. I've always thought of it as a party in honor of the deceased and this tour have me a whole new understanding of the depth of the days.
Too many people to hear and follow our leader, especially that there was among us a child in a stroller 20 people max!!!
Jesus showed us different parts of the town and explained the day of the dead traditions. Very nice!
