Pickup Locations & Times
Get picked up from your hotel on Koh Samui near the main road. If you are staying on the hill, you must visit a nearby hotel or meeting point. The tour operator will confirm the exact pick-up time via email. Please don't forget to recheck your email. Please plan to meet your tour guide at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. You may be considered a no-show if you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after the local partner has moved from your hotel.

- Morning Class Menu: Chicken Satay or Glass Noodle Salad, Massaman Curry or Red Curry, Tom Kha Gai or Tom Yum Goong, Stir Fry Chicken with Cashew Nut and Onion or Stir Fry Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce
- Afternoon Class Menu: Spring Roll or Seafood Salad, Panang Curry or Green Curry with Chicken, Tom Kha Gai or Tom Yum Goong, Fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce or Phad Thai
- Desserts: Pumpkin in Coconut Milk or Banana in Coconut Milk
- Any dish can be made with chicken, beef, pork, prawn, squid, fish or vegetarian version.
- This activity is not suitable for guests arriving by cruise ship or large boat.

Great experience and a Lovely chef/hostess and a small group of keen pupils. I’d recommend skipping breakfast and lunch as there’s lots of lovely food to cook and sample. Fabulous way to spend an afternoon learning to cook some classic Thai dishes- highly recommend.

Highly enjoyable half day spent cooking 5 different Thai dishes & learning about the ingredients. The food was delicious & best of all you get to eat it & get a file to keep with the recipes in it. There were 8 of us & we found it very interesting, In spite of this, at over £60 a person it is overpriced. Another gripe was we got an email 2 days before, confirming the booking, then received another just 3 hours later stating our booking would have to be rescheduled (we booked it 2 months ago!) due to over subscription and offering us 2 alternative dates & times. Fortunately, we were able to make one of these dates so didn’t have to cancel. We asked when we emailed, what had happened & weren’t given a response. So thankful we didn’t miss out!

Awesome class, well organised and great English too. Plenty of dishes to choose from to make and eat. Would recommend for anyone interested in learning to cook Thai food

A brilliant experience with a wonderful instructor. The selection of meals to choose from was excellent. The recipie book that we used, we got to keep so that we could make the meals at home

Loved the cooking lesson only 6 in group so easy to move around. Great fresh ingredients and our teacher was lovely . Repeated a lot of steps . Great cook book to take home with the recipes we cooked and other dishes in book we can cook at home .

Pickup was timely. Cooking school was a breezy open air kitchen with ocean views. All ingredients were fresh with lots of hands on experience to prep ingredients , cook dishes and taste final product. Owner/ chef ( apologies as I do not recall her name) was patient , knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. A take home recipe book was included . It outlines dishes prepared in class along with many others on the morning/afternoon menus. Highly recommend this experience.

This cooking class was absolutely fabulous!!! The owner and cook, Om, is a fantastic teacher. She was shy about her English, but she speaks English so well!!! Her home-made cookbook is great. The Lamai Cooking class was amazing and the meals that we made were so fresh and tasty! Our wonderful Host was very clear and spoke excellent English. The location was also fabulous with fresh sea air and views of the Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks. Cannot recommend this family owned business any higher.
