Tarangire Budget Full Day Tour from Arusha

Description
Today, however, cameras thankfully have replaced the elephant guns. The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round in which the herds often can reach an impressive number of 300 animals. The Tarangire River has water all year round and during the dry season, between July and October, many animals from the surrounding areas come to the river for drinking. If you visit the park during the dry season, you will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you can observe wonderful creatures such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, and zebras as well as various types of antelopes and gazelles and with little luck, you can also spot a python!

Itinerary
We will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and following a 2-3 hour drive, you will arrive at the Tarangire National Park. In this region, Hemmingway often went on big game hunting safaris. After the formation of the national parks in 1970, they turned the seasonal marshes and the endless savannah that one sees today into, once again, profitable hunting grounds. Around lunchtime, you will stop at a suitable picnic place before the afternoon is dedicated to more wildlife watching. Before sunset, you will be taken back to your hotel in Arusha

I booked a safari with Hadzabe Safaris a few months before heading there, as I was looking for a complete package from Zanzibar where everything would be taken care of and still fit within my budget. Right away, I got in touch with Herman, and the communication was super friendly and helpful. Everything was arranged, including the flights, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The safari itself was an unforgettable experience, like something straight out of National Geographic or a film. I'm so glad I did it, and even more so with Hadzabe, I felt at ease and well taken care of! The guide was so nice and also had so much knowledge to share. I was grouped with a few other girls, which made the experience even more special. Thank you so much for making it all happen!
A holistically great experience. From arrival to transport, safari, food and accommodation everything was super planned and thought out. Our guide Josh was super friendly and competent and was thus able to fulfill all our expectations and wishes. Thanks for the great days!
Herman is a top class, he just helped as much as he could to adjust my itinerary to my needs helping my dreams of doing an amazing safari in Ngorongoro come true and everything for a fare price
Luca was our jeep driver and he was the best! Sharp, funny, interesting and helpful with a very big heart We enjoyed a lot because of him and we are very thankful. The safary tours were amazing and beautiful, we just didn't like the tribe's visits. Also the food was not great. Overall recommended
I had an unbeliveable Solo das Trip to taranguiere NP. The Guide Joshua was very nice. A Special thanks to Herman, who organisied This great experience.
I used a safari locator to connect and then checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor for confirmation. I did a day trip to Tarangire. I originally wanted to go to Manyara but followed the advice of the safari company for a solo day trip. Communication was constant throughout the process. Everything went as promised. I had a lovely day at the park. I had hoped to join a group but I ended up traveling solo and they accommodated me. I had brought a lunchbox from my hotel but it ended up being disappointed. My guide ended up sharing his lunch from home, which was delicious. It is kindnesses like that, that define the experience. I have just recommended this company to other friends coming this summer.
