We arrived at the host’s house by taxi. We chopped vegetables which went into a Moroccan salad and a delicious tagine - the best one we ate during our stay in Morocco. In addition, the host told us some interesting stories about life in Morocco.
The guy never picked us up and stopped communicating 30 minutes AFTER pick up time. We called, we Whats App him MANY TIMES. An hour after he didn't show we just did our own thing in Tangier. I even called New York. They couldn't get ahold of our guide either. VERY FRUSTRATING. We chose to make the best of it in Tangier but it was not they day we had been looking forward to.
This tour was awesome! We went to lots of nooks and crannies and ended up cooking a delicious meal. Many thanks for everything. !

Anwar was such a helpful and kind guide! We got to visit places we’d never go to on any other tour or on our own. Very authentic. Great experience in the markets, and the cooking class was very delicious and informative. He was also able to give us recommendations for other places to visit during our time in Tangier.

This was an unforgettable experience in Tangier! The walking tour through the Medina was fascinating and full of history. Our guide was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the city and its culture. The highlight of the tour was definitely the Moroccan family cooking class. We had an amazing day exploring Tangier! The walking tour was very interesting and gave us a great introduction to the Medina, local markets, and Moroccan traditions. Our guide was kind, patient, and spoke excellent English. The cooking class with the local family was a unique and special experience.
