This tour was beautiful, informative and multifaceted. Tomio was a wonderful guide, who had great expertise, English language skills and patience. He was open for all my extra wishes during the tour and even made an extra stop at a local Museum, which was very interesting. I recommend this trip to everyone visiting Aomori prefecture ~
First, the correspondence between myself and our guide, Mr. Yokouchi was very good. He answered my questions shortly after I had messaged him. Second, our half day outing with Mr. Yokouchi was very informative as he told us all about the Takayama Inari shrine and history of the Jomon people. He set a good pace and time alloted for the Shrine, Jomon museum & Jr Station with the Jomon statue. Where we didn't feel rushed at any of these places.
Yokouchi-San was incredibly friendly and professional. Arrived on time at the meeting point and let me make small changes to the itinerary based on some options he had. He was also quite nice to talk to during the drive around, and was very knowledgeable about Japan, not just the tour spots. He gave me some great recommendations of what to do and eat all over Japan! Would highly recommend hiring him if you need a tour in Northern Honshu/Hokkaido
Tomio Yokouchi is a great guide. He explained everything well and even on the way to each side he explained to us some things about Aomori.
This tour is a great way to get to some places that would be difficult and time consuming to get to by public transport. My guide/driver Tomio Yokouchi spoke excellent English and was courteous and knowledgeable about the history and culture of northern Japan. I thought this tour was great value and highly recommend it.
Tomio was professional, polite and good company. He is an excellent driver and his car is extremely clean and comfortable. He was knowledgeable about the sites and he speaks excellent English. This trip was one of the highlights of my journey around Japan.
Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy your trip more and more during your stay in Japan.
