Tour guide was both informative and friendly. The tour covered the area around the island to drive around, providing an excellent selection of stops.
What a beautiful island, and this is a great way to see it all. The ride was easy, and our driver took us to all of the must be seen spots.
Driver was very informative and very knowledgeable about the island. He was extremely polite and friendly and was on time.
We toured Tahiti Nui. Stops: Venus Point; 1 waterfall out of the 3 (Faarumai), homemade snacks, Maara cave and water garden. Not planned because we were very behind schedule: sunset near PK18 Total: 4 hours of driving Positive point: they pick us up and drop us back off at the hotel
Excursion very good, unfortunately the guide, and he said it himself, mixed foreigners and French people, forced to repeat everything afterwards (personally I would have preferred in French then after that he translates into English because I didn't really understand half of it. And at the same time is Polynesia French? No!
Amazing experience with wonderful sites views from the top. Mana is a great guide explaining the history of island I highly recommend this tour
We were picked from our hotel on time in a modern 9 seater van. Our driver / tour guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable on his home country and our tour interest points. We circumnavigated Tahiti with stops at several interest points including a restored Temple (Marea? I think), cave created by wave action many moons ago, 100mtr waterfall, called in at In Laws for pineapple cake and deep Fried Bread Fruit, with the last stop being at Cooks landing point for the Venus transit in 1769. Even found out Capt. Bligh called in to collect Bread Fruit. A brilliant tour that was excellent value for money.
The half day tour of the island was great. There’s lots of history and cultural aspects to see. Mary Jane was a fabulous guide. Her joyous personality and knowledge of her homeland made the tour so worthwhile. The added personal touches (small souvenir, baked goods from her mums place and fresh fruit from a roadside stall holder) made it a truly memorable trip. I highly recommend this tour.
Mary Jane was a wonderful tour guide. I can honestly say this was one of the best tours we’ve taken. We even stopped my her parents home for fresh baked pineapple cake and bread chips. Very tasty. She was very attentive to our group and nice that it was only 7 people so a more intimate setting and not having to wait for bathroom breaks. A must tour to do when you’re in Tahiti. Request Mary Jane. Thank you!! Tom & Sue
This tour highlighted everything that is of interest for this area. It's a must do for a city tour. Our tour guide Mana was very informative and knowledgeable as well as very courteous.
