The Tijuana city it’s waiting crossing the border from San Diego, since 1889 has been growing and in the different neighborhoods of the city you can find different kind of tacos. The taco can be adapted to the occasion and the hour of the day. Early in the morning the mexican breakfast it’s the birria taco, the crispy tortilla and all the toppings ad layers of flavor. At the lunch time go easy and pick a classic, asada tacos with guacamole and a few drops of lime. The taco also lives into the restaurants some good ones will make something really new but familiar. To finish in the night the diner should be a adobada taco previous to start a party in a mexican cantina. Come join us to eat mexican food Maybe start a new weak it’s too hard, nobody want to go back to the job when you have been resting a few days, but the Taco Tuesday it's a light of hope, in Border Tour we believe the mexican food and especially a good taco can make a boring day into something extraordinary simply the best part of a trip.

The guide was Awsome. Her name was Marisol she was so nice and knowledgable!!!! The tacos were the best I have had in Mexico and the U.S.
We enjoyed the experience a lot! I traveled with my sister to San Diego. We started looking for things to do and knew we wanted to do a food tour of some sort. When we saw that we could cross the border into Tijuana for Taco Tuesday we were all for it. The tour was great and included 4 tacos (more if we wanted) and several beverages as we toured the city walking and viewed various landmarks. Our guide, Humberto was very knowledgeable and nice. We enjoyed the tour a lot and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to San Diego. The food and people were great! My only negative is we started late due to others on the tour getting stuck in line when crossing the border into Tijuana. Just know there is a lot of walking so if you have any limitations that prohibit you from a lot of activity this one may not be for you.
Carlos was a great tour guide! Really enjoyed the stops we made for tacos and drinks, and he is very knowledgeable of the Baja California area. Highly recommended, give them a try!
The guide, Tadeo Calles, was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He had excellent suggestions for maximizing flavors without being overpowering.
We had a great time Tadeo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. All the tacos we had were excellent.
Very easy process into and out of the country, tacos were all great and different.
You cross the border and meet the guide after you are in Mexico. Once there you take a bus downtown. This tasting did 2 tequila tasting and I believe the other only does one. We got to go to an actual tequila store, and Tabitha introduced us to the scorpion challenge. We also got to go to three different places for tacos which the other tour I believe only goes one place. Which all the tacos were delicious! Overall this was an amazing experience and our tour guide Tabitha was everything we could have asked for. It was our first time in Mexico and we felt so welcome and had such a blast! Before the tour was over she also showed me to a good tattoo shop and gave us tips about places and things to do. Thanks to Tabitha we will definitely be planning future trips to Tijuana.
Marisol is the best! It felt more like hanging out with a local pal grabbing snacks along the way (even though I was stuffed by the last stop). As a solo traveler, I also appreciated the clear communication and help navigating the border - their advice to take a bus back across and then hop on the train saved me lots of time and money on the trip back to the city!
You get the best of both worlds with this tour...tacos and guided history. Our guide Tadeo did a great job taking us to his favorite and best taco stands around Tijuana and was very knowledgeable about the city, it's landmarks, history and culture. We ate at 3-4 taco stands (all of which were very good), did a tequila tasting, had a beer at Dandy Del Sur bar and took a ride over to the beach where the border goes out into the sea. It was a great day, and I highly recommend this tour.
1. On the day, Marisol, the lady helped gather all attendees. 2. Marisol guided us how to walk across the border. 3. Once crossed the border, you will meet someone from Border Tour (in Tijuana). My trip was led by Tadeo. 4. Tadeo led us to birria restaurant, then Jal Alai and the nearby stores, had a quesadilla, cathedral. Then, fish taco to end the trip. 5. Tadeo led us to the border and gave advice on the process. 6. Once crossed border and bags checked, toilet trip, I was back to US.
