recognized by the Michelin guide as one of the best places to eat tacos in all of Mexico. The special is the Ramses, a fish taco battered with shrimp and its secret sauce together with the naturally flavored water that makes it a different place, among machinery used at the port's old tuna cannery. Their lemon and peppermint water is the best in the world.
Great shrimp or fish taco. Considered by experts as the best in Mexico. Another of the places recognized by the Michelin guide as one of the best to eat tacos in all of Mexico.
Maybe these tacos are not recognized by the Michelin guide but we can be sure that they are one of the best carnitas tacos in Mexico. The masiza taco with zarrapa is the best there is.
The guisado taco is the most popular in all of Mexico. It consists of a filling added to the tortilla to form the taco; from the humblest homes to the most luxurious, everyone eats guisado tacos.
After the event we can finish having some margaritas in the place of origin. Ensenada invented the margarita. Everyone pays for their drink or have a specialty coffee like a flat white or a driper in a nice square.

The tour was perfect. I was really surprised by how respectful the people in Ensenada are toward others and cyclists; at every corner or street, drivers would stop to let us pass or follow behind us, almost as if looking out for our safety. The tacos were incredibly delicious—the one I liked best was from Marco Antonio, and his place is wonderful: very authentic and free of tourists, with just my family and me there.
If you enjoy exquisite food, tasting, and enjoying good wines, this is the place. It has beautiful accommodations. It has everything to make your experience the best.
Tour booked for twelve high school graduates. Coordination and communication with Lizette was easy. A nice tour of the cultural center in Ensenada began the tour. My son asked me to leave a review after the tour because they learned so much interesting local history and enjoyed their day with Astrid and Xavier. Great food, not overly strenuous bike ride, flat roads and more food than they could eat. Highly recommend! Thank you MexGeo!
I find their instructions on meeting at their location so vague when you order the excursion, that it's almost on purpose. One is led to believe it is at, or extremely near, the cruise ship terminal where you get off your cruise ship. Not so. I found this out too late. It is a 15 minute walk/over a 1/2 mile with no signs in Spanish or English. I walked for about 10 minutes, realizing I had no idea where I should continue to go. I asked a few workers around the cruise terminal and further out (with a fluent Spanish speaking friend) and all said they had never heard of the excursion. None of them, and we asked 3. Granted, the host tried calling me later, but my international calling feature was down and I was unable to make or receive calls that afternoon. But what upsets me is that they claim that a security guard at the "Terminal de Cruseros" told them I had come too early and left! Not true. I never made it there and no "made up" security guard told them that. It would have been impossible. Then they later sent me a animated map of where things should have been in relation to ship and excursion. That came way too late, trying to make their case. Once again, no international calling on my end. Look, all I want is for them to be transparent and honest about getting to their location from the ship. That's all !!! And I am not even asking for my money back !!! It shouldn't be too hard for them to just make it simple and easy.
We're sorry this happened to you. We've been dealing with this for over three years, and this is the first time it's happened. The map I sent you was just to show you that we couldn't go through to the cruise ship exit because customs doesn't allow it, and so you could see how far you had to walk. I don't know who told you it wasn't there and that you had to walk up to 15 minutes or about half a mile. We try to be as transparent as possible, and we're correcting this mistake. On another note, we can't set up an information office where we usually wait for tourists because the municipality doesn't allow it. In fact, there isn't a single office for any tour operator. We'd love to have one, but it's not permitted. We hope you can come back, and we'd love to treat you to a tour on our own.
An excellent experience and time we had. The tour was very fun and interesting, with a lot of history spread out in every place we arrived. Tacos, you can not say more, delicious and unique, in the purest style Ensenada. A unique experience of riding the cove streets by bike and feeling safe thanks to the excellent guide. Fully recommended and to return for more.
As women in our 70s we were expecting suitable ebikes... Apparently you have to specify if you want ebikes and the ones on offer had cross bars so they were not suitable for our age and gender. Xavier went to some lengths to find step thru bikes and in reality we did not need ebikes for the relatively short flat ride we did. We felt safe riding behind Xavier. We enjoyed the tacos and coffee and the local history and information provided by the guide. We would recommend to other seniors that if like us you really need a certain bike style (like step thru) check that it can be provided before booking.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We will take them into account and add them to our description in case you need an electric bike or a special bike to make your journey more comfortable.
The biking is not hard at all. Anyone who can balance on a bike can do this tour. The tacos were great and visiting the cathedral, older mission house and the market area was great. Our guide was very attentive and super accommodating. My teen boys and hubby loved this tour as well.
Great time Lizzette and Javier went above and beyond! Tacos were awesome. Surprise end at a city winery and ice cream shop!
Easy bike ride to three taco stands with different approaches, lots of fun. The first was a taco cart in the street, second (the best) was a fairly permanent stall on the sidewalk, and the third was a bricks and mortar cafe next to the Mercado Negro (fish market). All were wonderful, and Javier knew their specialities, so we got the benefit of that. Javier was a great guide, and gave us an excellent overview of the city and its history along the way.. they only take couples or family groups, so you get a lot of attention.
Lizette and xavier were great tour guides. We had 3 amazing tacos. We visited the our lady of Guadalupe, taco factory, winery tasting, and flea market. The guides were very knowledgeable about Ensenada’s history and although we were biking on the streets, we felt safe!
