Disaster awaits

7 adults were packed into a small suv like sardines. It was excessively cramped and uncomfortable. The highlight of this tour was looking at a vacant lot while the guide, who spoke broken English at best, described what used to be there. This tour should be labeled “involuntary confinement”.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that there were six guests in the vehicle, not seven as mentioned in your review. The vehicle used was a Dodge Durango, which is licensed and approved for the number of passengers carried. However, we understand that comfort preferences vary, and we regret that you found the seating arrangement uncomfortable. We are also disappointed to hear your comments regarding the tour narration. Our guide strives to provide guests with historical and cultural information about the region, including locations of historical significance where original structures may no longer exist. Many visitors appreciate learning about the area's rich history and heritage, but we understand that this aspect of the tour may not have aligned with your interests. We value all feedback as it helps us improve our services. Thank you for choosing City Heart Tours, and we wish you the very best in your future travels.

Great! But not as expected

The tour itself was great! But I wish the advertising was much more clear. This is a small group tour in a car, not a tour group on a bus. The time was vague and says they are flexible so when I booked I requested afternoon. I found out the day before it was only at 10:30 and anything later would be a private tour for $120 more. Being in a car with a small group ending out being great! But we had no idea it was a small group, in a car, at 10:30 because none of that was clear when we booked.

Operator response

Thanks For feedback but it is clearly mentioned in the iternary that we offer small group tours in car or mini vans and the tour can only be opted in afternoon when the group has enough members to participate for the tour The extra price was mentioned that if you want to do afterwards which would be a private tour in the afternoon only for you again Sorry for the confusion and thanks for choosing cityheart tours

A disappointment

Very weak guide who did not communicate well or have much to add above the scenery. Sydney is a small town in Nova Scotia and guide had little to say unless we asked questions.

Sydney taxi tour

Sydney is a small port trying to make it. Our tour was in a taxi with five adult seats and one more for a small child. They tried to squeeze six adults in it. Fortunately complaining put two in another cab. Drove by a few sites, stopped at two quick stops. Got a little history. Then got dumped in town. Check the other tours. Skip this one.

Great short tour

It was a wonderful way to see the sights especially if you’re short on time. Kulveer Singh TD1332 was a wonderful tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the sights. He was extremely personable and friendly. He was a great company which made our tour even better.

Great seascapes

There isn’t much to see in Sydney. There are beautiful shorelines & seascapes. Our driver may have needed more rest, didn’t seem as enthusiastic for our tour. Lots of construction around the town/city.
