Description
Discover an off the beaten path version of the Algarve countryside aboard a 4WD Jeep. Visit the ancient villages, passing streams and spectacular scenery of Algarve. You will get to stop at a local river for a swim, visit a small Moorish farm to taste the famous medronho, liqueurs and honey. Learn about the customs such as cork making, and traditions of the rustic villages from a highly knowledgeable guide, who knows all about the local history, nature, lifestyle and landscape you see. Watch the sunset at one of the highest points in the area and enjoy dinner in a typical restaurant.

Pass by the village of Paderne
Visit Paderne's Castle with a small historical explanation.
Visit a local farm where you can try the homemade honey, carob liqour and the portuguese firewater (Medronho).
Drive through the countryside where we will show you the fauna and the flora of the region, plus a brief explanation about the cork process.
Visit the typical village of Alte
Stop to swim in a local river.
Watch the sunset in one of the highest point in the area to watch the countryside and the coastline.
Stop in a typical restaurant to dinner.

I would recommend using this company, we had such a lovely time ❤️. We went to secret waterfalls, tasted honey and wine, firewater 😃 , visited villages that we wouldn't normally have saw, met friendly local people and had nice food. The sunset was magical , such a beautiful view ❤️ . Our guide Tiago was very good telling us lots of information on the drive, and he made us laugh so much 😅, thank you Tiago. We had an amazing Jeep trip- our tour guide was called George and he was great- very knowledgeable and fun. We got to explore so many areas of the Algarve and even went swimming in a river!

Great little Trip and our Driver Marco was great. He made the trip fun. From start to finish he was engaging and funny. Sunset was awesome too.
The ride was nice but we didn't get much wiser. The guide was not particularly talkative, limited to pointing things out. The explanation of the cork process consisted of pointing to a cork tree and showing a piece of cork bark 😏 We expected a typical Portuguese dinner but it looked more like typical tourist dinner..
