Sunset Hiking Tour in the Rocky Mountains near Denver

Description
Do you want to go for a hike but don't know which trail to pick, and don't want to get lost in the forest? We make things easy for you by taking you to a beautiful trail that wouldn't be easy to find on your own, and we'll make sure you have a stress-free time, enjoying the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. We'll hike for 1.5-2 hours in the Rocky Mountains while the sun sets. We'll see pretty views, probably see some wildlife, take a few snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! In the winter months, we'll provide "Yak Traks" that you put on your shoes to improve the traction on ice and snow. The hike will be easy to easy for people in good physical shape, but it can be very challenging for people who do not exercise regularly and are not used to altitude. The elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 8,000 ft. Min group size is 2 hikers.

My first actual hike as a FL girl and I am so glad I had Matt as our guide. He gave us such a beautiful experience and had a lot of cool nature information along the way. 10/10 experience, thank you again!
Thank you for allowing us to show you our favorite part of Colorado, the hiking trails—so glad you enjoyed the Sunset Hiking Tour!! Hope this inspires you to hike more in the future!
We had a wonderful experience with Matt as our guide! He picked us up at our hotel and communicated when he needed to be a little late due to traffic. The hike was great for us and not at all too strenuous. Got some beautiful photos to remember our trip.
Lucinda, so glad that our sunset hike checked all the boxes for you! Thank you for spending the evening with us.
Adrienne was very knowledgeable about the area we hiked (Mt Falcon) as well the trees and flowers we saw. I would call this more of a moderate hike for visiting out-of-towners. Beautiful views. But guide provided TMI about personal life when giving her professional experience. And I was very concerned about the grinding brakes and dim headlights on the vehicle that supposedly shuttles larger groups 5-6 times per week up and down steep roads.
Thank you for your review. I’m glad you enjoyed the hike! I wanted to address your comments on the vehicle you rode in—you may not be used to riding in an older Toyota Landcruiser. It is a VERY reliable vehicle, used often on safaris in the jungles in Africa. This specific vehicle does not have LED lights, so they may have seemed dim to you if you are not used to them. The vehicle receives routine maintenance, with a full safety inspection just 4 months ago.
Amazing views! Easy to moderate hike about 3.5 miles. Wear hiking shoes, drink water, dress in layers. Matt was a phenomenal guide! We really enjoyed his laid back and informative nature! A wealth of information!
Thanks Shana, we are so happy you had an amazing time hiking with Matt.
What an amazing experience. Our tour guide was very thoughtful and did such an amazing job of pointing out some really cool features such as the juniper bushes, sage and other very cool plants. The scenery is stunning. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening hike.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the sunset hike.
Wonderful experience— beautiful environment, educational, great photo opps, not TOO physically challenging. Adrienne was the perfect guide!
The hike was awesome!! Our guide, Adrienne was fantastic! Make sure you are in good physical condition if you decide to go! The sunset was beautiful!
The sunset was stunning. Well worth the few inclines we climbed. Most of the hike is on flat ground. It was just beautiful.
Great hike just outside of Denver. Was as described. We meet at the hotel and got a ride with the hiking guide to the trail head. The trail was well maintained, and was slightly difficult no technically parts a just a few steep parts. Great views of Denver.
Robin was a fantastic guide. She brought great energy and local knowledge to the tour. She even brought snacks for us!
