Enjoy a sunset and stargazing experience in Teide National Park, one of the world’s top locations for night-sky observation. Tenerife is known for its clear skies and Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak at 3,715 metres. Pickup is included from selected meeting points in Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas, and Los Cristianos, followed by a scenic drive through the island’s volcanic landscapes. Watch the sunset from a high-altitude viewpoint as the sky fills with colour. Once night falls, we carefully select the best stargazing location based on weather and sky conditions to ensure the best possible experience. Using professional telescopes and laser pointers, your guide will explain constellations and stars. Depending on conditions, observe the Moon, planets, nebulae, star clusters, or the Milky Way. With guide assistance, you can take photos through the telescope using your own smartphone. Return transport included.

Itinerary
We start picking up people from the south area only. Costa Adeje, Playa Las Américas, and Los Cristianos. Pick-up is from the given meeting points only. If you are at a place which doesn't show up in the list of meeting points. please communicate this with us in order to provide you with a meeting point closer to you. The first ones collected will also be the first ones to get dropped off. Important to know is that we communicate exact pick-up time in the morning day of the excursion using WhatsApp of by phone call.
This is a local town where we'll visit a typical restaurant specialized in grill. We'll have a 3 course menu starting with a vegetable soup, bread with canary sauce. For the main course we'll get roast chicken with canary potatoes and salad. For desert we'll have some cake. Drinks are also included like local red and white wine, water, 7UP and Pepsi. Any other drinks are available at the bar for an extra charge. Also there is vegetarian or vegan option. Grilled vegetables with rise, canary potatoes and salad. The restaurant also provides gluten free option, and or lactose free. For lactose free we have fresh fruit for desert. Children have a special menu. Chicken nuggets with french fries. The menu is basic but the portions are good and the food is tasteful. If you are very specific when it comes to food, we recommend to book the no meal option and you may bring something you're more comfortable with and enjoy it at the restaurant.
We'll arrive at a great location to enjoy sunset and beautiful views from above the clouds. Standing between a lava landscape with views to volcano Teide behind us. We also take pictures for you as a nice reminder of this beautiful moment. After the sunset we guide you through the national park Teide showing and explaining you some of the great volcanoes with their history. This is a great opportunity allowing us to see the amazing volcanic landscape before it gets dark until we reach our final destination at around 2000m where we'll be starting the very unique stargazing experience using powerful telescopes and laser to show you constellations and some of the important stars. Every day is different like every sunset moment or some of the stars we can see depending on the season and the time of the year we're in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion with Tenerife Stars. The guide Ozzy has an incredible sense of humor, shares fun facts, and speaks every language. The driver is also very pleasant to drive and super friendly. You also have the option to have professional photos taken, for a fee, but the memory is worth it. In any case, we enjoyed ourselves and ended our trip to Tenerife on a high note.
We really recommended this trip. Coach picked us up on the time they said. Staff were really knowledgeable on the experience. The sunset above the clouds and star gazing was an amazing experience
Highly recommend this experience! The scenery was absolutely amazing, and our tour guide, Ozzy, was fantastic. He shared lots of interesting facts throughout the tour and had a great sense of humour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One piece of advice: when they recommend bringing or wearing something warm, definitely take it seriously. Once you get up to the stargazing location, it gets surprisingly cold, so you’ll be much more comfortable if you’re dressed for it. Overall, an unforgettable experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Tenerife!
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. I came from Amsterdam to visit my friend and we were really existed to have a guided tour to the Teide. We both work in hospitality so we know how things working. The first disappointment was before even entering the bus that took us up. When we bought the tickets, the salesman ensured us we can make the payment with card for the deposit and for the remaining amount too. We also called the company to double check this information and they told us it is possible in their restaurant were we had the dinner! Well the tour guide (Ozzi) denied these information and just sent us rudly to an ATM; saying “we can argue here all day”, made us uncomfortable and also made the others waited aswell. The whole sunset watching, stargazing and trip was nice, we made great pictures, but the tour guide made it worse and worse. First of all when we made it to the restaurant and wanted to sit down, we literally could not sit where we wanted. He told us no sit here sit there so it is good for him (he is more organized like this). What a joke. After that when we were at the stargazing he went to the hotel nearby to the toilet, did not say a word to the group so EVERYONE followed him (appr. 30 people). The hotel was really mad at us that some of the people (including the tour guide) used the toilet and they put us out and closed the hotel. After this the tour guide had the audacity to put the blame on us for going in. And we were told TO GO PEE IN THE NATURE, after he had his comfortable time in the toilet. We were by the stargazing for more than 2,5 hours. Watched stars and the moon for like 1-1,5 hours and more than half of the group got tired of it, people were not even paying attention, we heard nonsense information for the 100x. Kids were running around not enjoying it, adults were also smoking in the side not even care about it anymore. Whats the cherry on top, the next day they asked a review from us, we were clear and straight to the point what happened and the answer was we are sorry. They also called us, about the compensation, which we did not want, obviously after this bad experience I won’t do it again. But the attitude of the costumer service guy was horrible, argued with us, interrupted every single sentence we said. All together this experience might have been good for people with low expectations, but people who travel a lot, are working in hospitality and experienced a lot was a shame.
You and your friend Melissa both have been misbehaving. The issue started at the very beginning with not following instructions given by our customer service and the guide Ozzi. We don't accept any misbehaviour or bad language like you have been doing. What you are stating is false and not reflecting reality. It's very clear that people enjoy our excursion a lot, and most people book with us because Ozzi is the tour guide. We always advise people to be careful with such reviewers as there is always people who try to make it look dramatic or very bad. This is usually reflecting the character of the reviewer. We will always try to avoid such negative and misbehaving people from joining us. The reviewer is reflecting emotions rather than the true experience.
Very bad organisation, the tour guide Ozzie was rude and unprofessional. We did not see any stars, very long excursion without any sense. Waste of money and time, I do not recommend it at all!
You have been misbehaving and on not following instructions provided by the guide Ozzi. Also you have been insulting Ozzi using the "F" word. This type of behaviour is unacceptable and totally not appreciated.
This is a very well organised trip. Food stop was good. Only thing it would be nice for a couple of food options. The sunset area was amazing and then the stargazing experience was fantastic. Ozzy really knows his stuff about astronomy and found it extremely interesting. Would 100% recommend this trip. Thank you Tenerife stars team x

It was a very magical experience. The tour was very well structured and the guide (Aussie?) was very friendly, helpful and informative. It was very unique and made me want to go back up the volcano to see more. The dinner was also very nice.

We had a wonderful evening. The sunset was spectacular, as advertised 😁, and the knowledge shared by our tour guide was fascinating. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the night sky was awesome. The simple use of lasers to point out individual stars in a beautifully clear night sky really helped. The photographs taken were amazing too. We will remember this night for a long time with them. I told Izzy that he had awakened a childhood fascination with the stars. Among the millions of stars on view 5 of them got to Stargazers. 🤩

One of the best nights of our lives! My son and I love all things space and celestial. I love a nice view. Everything came together in this excursion for an amazing evening, I am so happy we did this experience. The guide Ozzy was amazing, funny, knowledgeable and helpful. I loved that there was the add on option for photos. The main highlight was the nature itself though. The view for sunset was just indescribable, beyond stunning. And seeing the night sky and all the stars from that location was incredible. My son and I particularly enjoyed the telescope viewing, you can see everything so clearly, it was just amazing. I would recommend this to anyone as a must!!
