Al-Ansari for Tourism Transport in Egypt
Very bad experience with Viator and Sheba Tours. We were informed by the tour operator that the event is cancelled and refund will be issued, but still haven’t received any refund. Viator support team also does not reply to any communications. Very bad management. This activity is not at all recommended. The tour operator scammed us and did not issue refund.
I booked for 5:30 minutes before the tour, but I was contacted that I could not do the tour that evening. I had to pay an extra fee and upgrade to 4:30, but I could not do it on my schedule, so I asked for cancellation. Not canceled yet. I didn't participate in the tour, I don't get a refund, and the tour operator pretends to ignore our contacts. If you cannot proceed with the tour, you should not be able to book from the start. I think they're really bad people. Do not sell this product. It can happen to you like me.
While other balloons hovered and traveled over Hatshepsut temple and even valley of the kings, our balloon just went up in the parking lot stayed there for a few mins and came right down. It was a very disappointing ride.
The flight was fun and the sunrise in the courtyard was beautifully viewed. Our flight was with Shiba Tours and thank you Merna for helping and we got a reservation tickets for sunrise three hours before the flight
This hot air balloon ride was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and magical way to see Luxor from above. well organised and a great memory to bring home.
The hot-air balloon ride to experience the sunrise over the Valley of the Kings - it is absolutely worth getting up at 3am. We were picked up at 3:30 a.m. by our private taxi from the Hilton & Spa hotel and taken to the small boats (Feluken). After crossing to the west bank we drove in convoy for take-off place. We were lucky - the wind conditions were excellent - over 50 hot air balloons took off. The journey took around 60 minutes - an experience not to be missed!
the balloon flight went very well. the aerial view of the temples changes from the usual visits. I recommend. The downside I didn't appreciate was the hostage-taking of the person who brought us back. he didn't want to get us off the boat until we sent a notice. he stayed away from the shores to keep us from getting off. he checked the phones of the other passengers for them to give an opinion.
Good service the staff in charge are very professional and friendly. They were always willing to collaborate and resolve our doubts.
Though probably you wake up- super early - after an intense day sightseeing and you'll doubt if its worth while... DO IT! The spectacle even start when you get to the launching camp. seeing how the balloons get filled, then launching, being able to observe everything from those heights... and watching the sunrise ! (have to confess that several tears also came out to watch Ra reflected on the Nile). Simple unbelievable. Of course it has an extreme factor to it. A hot air balloon, filled with fire, that rises to great heights is no minor task. But you forget the scare with the whole spectacle.
