We’ll take in the charm of Place Kléber, discovering intriguing facts about its history while enjoying the vibrant square and its impressive buildings.
Our first gourmet stop takes us to the charming Petite France, where we’ll taste a selection of traditional Alsatian starters such as onion tart, bibeleskäs, and foie gras, all while enjoying the fairytale atmosphere of this historic district.
At Place Gutenberg, we’ll pause to admire the historic square before enjoying a tasting of local Alsatian wines, celebrated for their freshness and unique character.
On the idyllic riverside quays, we’ll taste Strasbourg’s finest tartes flambées, with delicious options also available for vegan and gluten-free guests.
Finally, depending on the season, we’ll end on a sweet note around the Cathedral area. In summer, we’ll savor homemade artisanal ice cream, perfect for a sunny stroll. In winter, we’ll indulge in Alsatian specialties such as Black Forest cake, kougelhopf, and the beloved bredle: little spiced Christmas cookies.

My friend and I booked this tour for our first full day in Strasbourg. The tour is focused on the city centre and the pace is easy, relatively flat. The tour is a great introduction to the unique wines, food, and history of this area. Elodi was a pleasant host. Elora was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the city. With that being said, this is the only food tour I have been on in which the food isn't included. So make sure to read the fine print. Elora did take us to relatively inexpensive places for food and gave us suggestions on what to order, but keep that in mind when booking this experience.

Elora was a wonderful guide through the beautiful city of Strasbourg!! She showed us so many wonderful parts of the city. We learned about the history and culture of the Alsace region as well as the stories behind each Christmas market. She took us to several delicious food stops and we enjoyed her company as we tried new foods. I highly recommend Elora as a guide through Strasbourg. She is delightful, well-informed, and fun to be with!
Despite the pouring rain, we had a lovely time with Elora. She is friendly and very knowledgeable, plus she knows all the great places to try traditional fare, many where the locals go. The stops are totally customizable, so you can make the experience whatever you want.
We ended up booking this tour pretty last minute after another tour we had cancelled. Elora was fantastic and gave us a lot of history about Strasbourg. We stopped in various food shops and restaurants which was wonderful. We also enjoyed a very good wine tasting. I would highly recommend this tour, it is a great way to get an insiders visit to the city!

⸻ Our guide Elora was absolutely excellent—extremely knowledgeable and generous with her time. What impressed us most was how thoughtfully she accommodated the diverse dietary needs of our group. She even went out of her way to purchase vegan cheese beforehand so that our vegan friend could fully participate. This extra effort made the experience feel truly personalized and inclusive.
