We thoroughly enjoyed our Stone Town walking tour with the guide we recommend africa experience tours company. The guide met us right on time at our hotel and starting at the Old Fort gave us a wonderful tour that included the waterfront, history of the town, a visit to the vibrant open air market and the sobering history about slavery in this part of the world. Along the way we also had the pleasure of getting to know James the guide, his life in Zanzibar and his aspirations. He’s a sharp man with a plan and we guarantee that you will enjoy and appreciate your time with him in Stone Town.
