This is a small group tour. We booked last minute and ended up as a private tour. Ivo took us anyway. He drove us to Ston, via scenic route with many stops to enjoy the views. He talked of the history and realities of living in Dubrovnik and Croatia. We took a walk around Mali Ston and Ston, had some wine, went on the oyster boat. Dino, the oyster farmer and his wife provided a feast of fresh oysters and mussels pulled fresh from the sea. Delicious!! After our visit to Ston, we went to a couple of wineries to taste local plavak mali and dingač. Beautiful drive home. Our 5 hr tour was really 8, and could have gone longer, had we wanted to go more places. Ivo was a fabulous, friendly host and we loved the time spent with him.
We had the pleasure of having Ivo as our guide, he was knowledgeable, professional and very flexible with the time schedule. We had the best tasting of the oysters and mussels, so delicious!!! What a great experience we had and I highly recommend this tour with Ivo. P.S. Captain Daniel was terrific in his explanation and presentation of this ousters industry. Thank you!
