Stargazing Safari Adventure by Jeep with Bedouin Dinner-Hurghada

We went to as a family of four (two teenage girls) and it was just brilliant. Most tours are completely non-stop, but this one was perfect because it actually felt lovely and peaceful at times. Some of the still, quiet moments were exactly what we needed after such a hectic holiday. The jeep ride out there was highly entertaining, super bumpy and honestly felt like we were in a movie. Once at the farm, we had a camel ride which was really fun, and we also fed the goats some reeds, which my teenage girls absolutely loved. We visited the horses too, and it was great to see that they were very well cared for and well fed. I also loved the pigeon dovecot structures, they are just beautiful. There was a little spice shop on site as well, which was really good for learning about all the local Bedouin uses for their natural materials. Our guide, Arabi, was fantastic. He was a lovely mix of interesting, intellectual, fun, relatable, and open-minded. Just before sunset, we had a ride on the horses and took lots of pictures. Then we took a short drive up to a vantage point to watch the sun set over the desert. It genuinely looked like a scene straight out of Star Wars and was incredibly special. Afterward, it was back to the farm for a traditional Bedouin supper, which we all really liked. To finish the night, we did some stargazing. Arabi knew so much about the stars and astrology in general, which was fascinating. Then it was back in the jeep across the desert and back to Hurghada. Such a special, well-paced day. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to go on this experience as I'm a bit of a moon child and the night I went was on the strawberry full moon. Adam the tour guide and facilitator was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke about numerous topics about the universe, astrology, folklore and traditional ways of living past and present. A wise soul who made me feel at home in an environment so alien yet familiar simultaneously. The photoshoots that are available are well worth the money and the photographer was a wonderful addition to the crew. The driver was so friendly and fun. One thing is for certain, be prepared for a wild ride because you'll certainly be connecting with the stars in his presence. Brace yourselves for an unforgettable experience!

An incredible experience with an impeccable team; we were immersed out of time. Ahmed, Omar, Mohamed, and all the other members were very attentive to us. We were a small group and felt privileged. We learned so many things. We were with young children and it was very safe. Thank you all for these magical moments

We took a tour to the Bedouins, and it was truly a wonderful experience – absolutely recommendable! Our guide Nasser accompanied our German group and speaks really good German (also English, French, and Italian). He explained everything very clearly, was totally funny and laid-back – you could also joke with him, which made the whole tour even more relaxed. Especially in the evening, stargazing was a highlight: Nasser explained the constellations very well; it was simply impressive. For anyone interested: There is Wi-Fi available, but it doesn't really work well. You can get a signal sometimes, but it didn't bother us at all. We were on the road for about 9 hours in total (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, including pickup and return from the Albatros Makadi Resort). All in all, it was truly a great experience that we would do again anytime!

We had the best time ever!!! Our driver made our trip unforgettable I truly believe we had the most fun. Arabi was also great. And special thanks for Mustafa and his cousin they all made us feel very comfortable. Its an unforgettable trip everyone must try!!!!

We did this experience during our stay at Neverland. It was an excellent adventure that we'll never forget. We were picked up around 13:50, an hour earlier than previously communicated, which made things a bit stressful. We gathered with around 30 to 40 other people for some tea and two demonstrations, one showing bread baking and the other alternative, local medicine. Then we could hop onto our camels for a half-hour trip up the hill, watching the sunset. Then back down to the oasis camp where enjoyed our dinner, followed by some stargazing. It was an amazing experience that we'll never forget. Especially the startalk by Adam with his laser pointer was magical and fascinating. There were a few negatives that I'd like to share, to help others set their expectations. 1) The jeep ride to the camp goes high-speed through the desert. While fun for many, others may find this to be scary or nauseating. It didn't feel very safe, as we were all without seatbelts. 2) There is a small shop in the camp, but prices are very high (5 EUR for a soft drink, 8 EUR for a big can of Pringles). You do get free soft drinks with the meal if you wait a bit longer. 3) Don't expect a small group. GetYourGuide said "limited to 14 people". TripAdvisor said "max 30 people". I believe our group was well over 30, probably around 50 people. This was not a big problem, but only somewhat annoying during the stargazing, where you had to queue for minutes to get 5 to 10 seconds of viewtime through one of the three telescopes. 4) If you book directly with them, make sure to bring cash. If not, you may end up like us, unable to pay on-site due to connection problems (no 5G, no Wi-Fi) and then being asked to withdraw money at your hotel (in multiple withdrawals), resulting in a higher cost than you would have paid through any external provider.
