Mangrove And Snorkel

Great educational kayak tour of the mangrove, but if it’s windy, expect a hard time fighting the wind in the open bay,

Kayaking through the mangroves and then beaching to snorkel to the reef and then returning by kayak.

The mangroves were amazing and the guide was very knowledgeable about them and the wildlife they support. We had a 6 and 8 year old and the swim to the reef was too much for the 6 year old because of the wind and currents.

One of our favorite experiences in St. Thomas!

Amazing way to explore St. Thomas with kids. We had such a great time on this tour! We kayaked through the mangroves, learned about the ecosystem and wildlife, and then got in the water to snorkel. Our guide, Keith, was fantastic - knowledgeable, personable, and great with my kids. He kept them engaged and made the entire experience fun rather than feeling like a scripted tour. The kayaking was beautiful, and my kids loved stopping to explore and see the wildlife up close. The snorkeling was also a lot of fun, and we saw plenty of fish. It was active, educational, and genuinely enjoyable for both me and the kids. One thing I especially appreciated was that our guide took a ton of photos throughout the tour, both kayaking and underwater, so I could actually participate and enjoy the experience instead of constantly trying to document everything myself. We ended up with some really great pictures from the day. Definitely one of our favorite activities in St. Thomas and absolutely worth doing. I would highly recommend the mangrove eco tour, especially for families with adventurous kids.

So fun

We had a great time. Keithlyn was funny and knowledgeable. He knew a lot about the Mangroves and was able to point out a lot of species of fish and wildlife. We were able to see starfish and sea urchins. It was a great time and we learned and laughed a lot.

Fun excursion from our cruise

My 3 daughters (18, 21, 25) and I had a great kayak/snorkeling trip. Our guide, Brett, was very informative and made sure we had the best opportunity to see all the local critters—jellyfish, hermit crabs, octopi, stingrays, etc. We kayaked total 3 miles—one short section was a little more challenging going against current, but overall pleasant and fun experience!
