Brian was very helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated his help in all the things that we needed to do.
Our guide Chad, was knowledgeable and very kind. We learned a lot about St Louis and it's history, which was great. However, I am not sure the cost matched the level of the experience. However, I am gllad we did it, and ended with a trip up the arch, which was unforgettable.
Get tickets before you go. Schedule is not flexible. It IS worth it. Take a capsule to the top of the arch and enjoy the view.
That advance ticket tip is genuinely useful advice that will save future visitors a headache, and the capsule ride to the top of the arch is not something to miss. 🏛️ Short, sharp and exactly what people need to know!
Clark was extremely knowlegable and, you could tell, loves his city. It was a pleasure exploring and learning from him
That genuine love for a city comes through in every detail a guide shares, and Clark clearly has it in abundance! ⭐
Great brunch at UBrunch, Awesome walk through the Old Cathedral and the Old Courthouse, wonderful tour of City Garden and Sculptures
The combination of great brunch, stunning architecture and City Garden's sculptures makes for a tour that covers St. Louis from every angle worth seeing! 😊
Fun and orderly! We have a fantastic time learning about the history of St. Louis and taking in the beauty of the Park!
History, beauty and a well run day all in one is a winning combination! 🌟
Great experience! Friendly guide who was very knowledgeable and made it fun and comfortable for everyone.
Making every single person in the group feel comfortable while keeping it fun and informative is a real skill and it clearly came naturally! 😊
Meeting at the Catholic basilica on Walnut which is one of two original buildings still standing after the great fire - Matt did a great job giving an overview of the founding of St Louis and the key historic events and architecture in a 1+ hour walk. Then we walked to the arch, got more context before we took the “elevator” up the arch. The arch architected by Eero Saarinen is a must see and in itself worth traveling to St Louis for. The museum at the arch itself is well done - great to catch up on American history, balanced perspective.
balanced perspective. 12:04 PM Matt setting the scene at the basilica before leading you all the way to the Arch sounds like such a beautifully structured way to experience the story of St. Louis unfolding step by step! 🏛️ The museum getting a mention for its balanced perspective on American history is something we are really proud of
We took this walking tour during our visit to St. Louis and had a wonderful time. Our guide, Chad, was the highlight. He shared so much great history about the city and really brought the stories to life. You could tell he genuinely knows and loves St. Louis, and he made the past feel relevant and interesting rather than just a list of dates. Combined with the Arch tour, it ran about 2.5 hours and never felt long. It was a nice, small group, so the whole experience felt personal and relaxed. Chad was happy to answer questions along the way, and we came away knowing far more about the city than when we started. Highly recommend this tour.
Chad truly is a gem and it means a lot to hear how his passion for the city's history came through so naturally for your group. 🏛️
We had a small group led by our tour guide, Chad. He was very patient as we gathered at the meeting spot. The tour lasted for 3 hours. Chad was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions throughout. He allowed us to take our time in the Old Courthouse where the famous Dred and Harriet Scott lawsuit was filed. Our tour included the admission fee to the top of the arch. This experience was extremely special for me because my brother loved the St. Cardinals baseball team. I was delighted to go see his favorite team play, especially winning against the Dodgers. I did not know that Build a Bear is headquartered here.
We’re thrilled to hear that Chad made your tour enjoyable, informative, and comfortable from start to finish. His passion for St. Louis history and dedication to our guests truly shines through, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him.
