JD was a fantastic tour guide. This was our first time visiting St. Augustine and my daughter's one request was a ghost tour and this did not disappoint. From every stop to every story, JD flowed from one to another effortlessly. I highly recommend this tour!

Nice little tour of the city by night! Not really spooky but interesting for sure! Our guide, JD, was great & even picked us up/dropped us off from our Airbnb that was about a mile away from the meeting point so we didn't have to drive!

Horrible! Tour never told us the time was changed. we waited forever. Then they called and said because we booked through Trip Advisor we had no recourse! That was wrong. They had my number and email. I did get our money back but was so disappointed.

In this case, the tour departure time was adjusted by approximately 30 minutes due to our seasonal summer schedule. Your reservation had been made roughly six months in advance through a third-party booking platform, and unfortunately the updated departure information was not reflected on the booking provider's side. While uncommon, this can occasionally happen with reservations booked far in advance through third-party channels. Our office did send a notification regarding the schedule adjustment. Additionally, your reservation included complimentary pick-up at your lodging, and your guide was preparing to arrive for pick-up when we learned of the issue. We completely understand that unexpected schedule discrepancies can be frustrating. Although the issue did not originate on our end, we immediately issued a full refund and also extended a 25% discount toward a future tour as a gesture of goodwill. For travelers booking many months in advance, we generally recommend booking directly whenever possible, as it allows guests to receive schedule updates and notifications directly from our team without relying on third-party systems. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity should your travels bring you back to St. Augustine. Safe travels.
The ghost tour was great and we had a lot of fun. Our guide, Skittle was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and made it very interactive for us. If we visit again in the future we would take the tour again with Skittle as it was well worth the money.

this was no doubt our worst tour- our guide JD (who shared MORE than we needed to hear about his personal life) did not seem to be clear on where we could park etc. As far as seeing ghosts of course we did not, it was nice hearing about the history, not needed was his opinion about the area and not needed was his flirting with people we passed- perhaps that was part of the trip- i disliked it very much

JD is one of our most requested guides precisely because guests enjoy his personality, humor, local insight, and engaging storytelling style. Many travelers specifically choose small-group tours because they prefer a personal and interactive experience rather than a scripted audio presentation. Parking is also clearly explained on our website and in pre-arrival information. As stated, guests are responsible for parking and we recommend arriving with extra time to park and check in at least 10 minutes prior to departure, especially in busy downtown St. Augustine. Your comments regarding JD being friendly with pedestrians are unfairly characterized. Greeting people while driving through town and creating a welcoming atmosphere is part of being personable on a live guided tour — not “flirting.” You also mention not wanting opinions or additional local commentary beyond strict history, which honestly may mean a guided tour experience simply was not the right fit for your expectations. Our tours are intentionally conversational, personal, and locally driven — which is exactly what many guests appreciate and repeatedly praise in their reviews.
