Pickup Locations & Times
Traveler pickup is offered. Bandaranaike International Airport and Colombo Negombo hotels are start tour points. Other departure times are around 8:00 a.m. However, we would vary this time depending on the guest's request. But we suggest that the departure time be at least 10:00 am so that we can slowly complete all stops on the itinerary without rushing. If you need to pick up from another point, it will be an extra charge.

What a day, visiting beautiful locations right outside of Kandy. Thara is a really nice guy, well experienced and reliable. He helped us to see some of the most beautiful places in Sriy Lanka. I would highly recommend his tours while visiting Kandy. He also took us to Nuwara Eliya, because we wanted to take a train to Haputale.

I had an amazing day around Kandy with Thara! He showed me such good spots, which had a nice range and perfectly filled up the day without being too much. Thara is a safe driver and is really accomodating, flexible and most importantly super friendly! He also went out of his way to help me plan the rest of my days in Sri Lanka, which I really appreciated :). I'd highly recommend Thara for any trips in & around Sri Lanka!!

Sri Lanka is truly beautiful, but meeting and spending time with Thara made our impressions even stronger. Thara is an excellent guide who has knowledge, good acquaintances, patience and kindness. Besides being an excellent driver, he is very honest and focused on his work. We liked that he returned patiently to collect lost things, that he would park and turn attentively to us in order to answer some important questions. He arranged for us train tickets at 04:00 in the morning, tickets for traditional dances and temples, guided us through the platforms, streets, rafting and many other beauties and gave us good advice. In the end, he gave us a handmade painting as a souvenir of the trip. Thara, we wish you all the best and can't wait to see you again! 10/10 ❤️

Amazing Tour from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, we saw Sri Lanka's nature, and all the great places you must visit during your trip. Thara took us to our Hotel on the first day, and the next day he was there to take us to a beautiful tour! We did the Kandy Spice walk, tea factory, lot of waterfalls and we tried really good local food! We recommend it 100%

We met Thara after we arrived in Kandy off the bus. He was amazing so friendly and helpful. He was very laid back so it was easy to make plans and give him times we wanted to go places. We spent 3 days touring about Kandy with Thara and he took us to some amazing places and great spots to eat. He was very accommodating and good value for money. We would highly recommend his service! He even gave us a little parting gift to remember him. We loved our time in Kandy with him!

We arrived by bus in Kandy and hadn’t really planned anything. But we were lucky to be picked up by Thara, who suggested a few things we could do. He offered a very fair price for taking us to the different sights and were incredibly flexible by including stops that we wished (Fruit stall and lunch place) Thara is such a great guy, I highly recommend him!

What should we write that has not already been written by the other people here :-) Thara picked us up at the bus station and brought us to our hotel. The drive was only about 10 minutes but even there you could feel his warm personality and his calmness. He is not like the "friend" guy on the beach who whants to sell you some overpriced bracelets but he is the friend guy where you get happy when you see him cause you know, he will get you a wonderfull day and shows you the best places in Kandy. What also has to be mentioned, that he is seriously interested in you and if you are really satisfied! So all in all, we totally recommend him as a tour guide and will definetly recommend him to our friends and family if they plan to visit Kandy. Wish you all the best and see you next time.
