Sri Lanka 5-Day Private Car Hire with Driver-Guide

Once again we chose to use Merganser Holidays during our recent trip to Sri Lanka. And as before they were excellent. Henry is such a good driver and travel host that he really adds to the value of the trip. Always on time, always smiling and always with a spotless car – he’s great. The office also sorted out train tickets for us which was much appreciated. Having a driver with a car takes all the worries about travel away, allowing you to soak up the scenery, sights and smells of this fabulous country. Merganser Holidays come warmly recommended.

I was uncertain of many things for this trip in Sri Lanka. This was not really a place i planned to take vacation to. i searched Trip advisor as i always do. I have come across too many tour guides and private drivers. i talked to many of them. But Mr. Henry was different from all the rest. He gave suggestions of places to go. Patiently discussed how it's gonna be for the entire duration of the trip. He customised and revised many times our itinerary as i wanted it exactly until we both agreed. During our trip, from Day 1 until the last day, he was consistently kind and patient. He is very respectful too. This trip is probably the best i had . Thanks to Mr. Henry for the guide and assistance. It would not have been that fun if it were not with his company. I highly recommend his services to the tourists out there looking for assistance in Sri Lanka. You are assured of your safety under his care. Not to mention that he was very fatherly to me and my friend.

We can only confirm all positive comments which were released in relation to the service provided by Henry. We’ve been on a rather short tour in Sri Lanka but the support we have obtained from him was really outstanding. Well cut to our needs and flexible when needed. We’ve not been exposed to unexpected attractions which are usually offered by other drivers' or travel companies. No spice shops or false-art shops. Everything agreed and well fitted to our itinerary. We would like also to add that Henry is a great driver and one can fill really safe on jammed Sri Lanka’s roads. So, if somebody seeks for a reliable and tactful service, it is your first-rate choice. Next time we are in Sri Lanka, we will surely rely on Sri Lanka Private Guides. It is a prime quality service (and rates are really reasonable!).

Our family would like to say a big thank-you to Henry for accommodating our itinerary easily within the 5 days round tour. We have packed a lot in and by the end of the 4th day we were all sick of sitting in a car. He managed to get us to all the key attractions on our list safely which was a big deal considering we were travelling with little ones, a big credit to Henry for driving safely in the sometimes chaotic traffic conditions. A note of caution for future travellers to Sri Lanka, allow plenty of time for road commute as traffic conditions dictate (sometimes) double the duration it would normally take in your home country. An alternative is perhaps cut down the number of attractions to see and spend a bit more time in each area to appreciate the region more. Overall it has been a thoroughly enjoyable first visit to Sri Lanka with future visits in the pipeline.
