We had a wonderful time in SL under the excellent guidance and support of our driver cum guide Barithu. He is extremely friendly, polite and punctual. Liked his careful driving and he is a very good listener. He is also very familiar with the places we wished to visit. Sri Lanka tour By Lanka Safe Tours Guide & Driver : Supun Review: We took the 6 Day 5 Night tour to Sri Lanka with Lanka Safe Tours. Our guide and driver for the entire Trip was Supun. We had an amazing and lovely time throughout the journey, and our guide was able to explain the customs and history of the various places we visited with confidence and clarity. We were also able to modify the trip as we went along whenever we felt too tired for certain activities or certain cuisines and Supun was able to suggest alternative activities promptly, allowing us to have an enjoyable experience throughout. Supun had a good network of partners throughout the places we visited, ensuring the highest likelihood of memorable events. We had an enjoyable time for the Kandy Cultural dance show, getting front row seats, and we had almost an almost face to face encounters during the fire dance segment. The heat from the fires took out breaths away! The Yala Safari tour is usually a hit or miss affair, (as all wildlife activities can be) but we were happy to get assigned a friendly and capable safari guide, allowing us to sight even the leopards (albeit from a distance). We were also blessed with sighting of sloth bears and elephants up close to the roads, which we were led to understand as not a common occurrence. I would definitely recommend Lanka Safe Tours, and the hiring of Supun as the travel guide for future trips in Sri Lanka.

We had the best experience with Lanka Safe Tours. We covered Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and Kandy on a 3 nights and 4 days trip and we were able to visit all the famous sights. Special appreciation for Dinuka, our guide and driver, who was very enthusiastic about showing us all the places and was flexible with our needs. Also, all the hotels were quite good for the budget. Fantastic trip with Lanka Safe tours. We did a 4 day/3 night trip from Kalutara > Kandy > Ella > Yala and had an absolutely wonderful time. Our driver (Fernando) was an excellent guide, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He showed us the highlights of Sri Lanka and was very informative. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he helped us negotiate with locals etc. when needed. He was happy to stop as much as we wanted (for snacks etc or just because we’d seen something we wanted to take a picture of!) He was punctual and kept in regular touch via WhatsApp when he dropped us off at places for us to explore. We felt very safe and looked after the whole time. The hotels we stayed in were beautiful, and food was excellent at all locations. The company themselves again kept in regular contact via WhatsApp and gave us an excellent price for the tour (half of what our hotel rep tried to charge us!) Our hotel tried to dissuade us from using any external company so we would book with them but I’m so glad we chose Lanka Safe tours for our trip. Would heartily recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
