Spoleto Countryside Home Cooking Pasta or Pizza Class & wine

Description
Just 5 minutes from the historic center of Spoleto, a local hostess opens the doors of her charming countryside home to share the real heart of Umbrian cuisine. This culinary experience gives you the chance to choose the class that best suits the season and your passion — and dive hands-on into one of Italy's most beloved food traditions. Choose your experience: join the Pasta Class — available all year — or, if you are visiting in summer, book the Pizza Class Whichever you choose, the experience follows the same warm, unhurried rhythm: your hostess guides sharing techniques and stories passed down through generations. At the end of the class, everyone gathers around the table to enjoy the fruits of their labor — a full convivial meal with a traditional second course, homemade dessert, and a glass of carefully selected regional wine. More than a cooking lesson, this is an invitation to slow down, connect with the land, and take home a piece of authentic Italian life.

Friendly English speaking hostess, lovely quiet home near spoleto. Prepared food that was easy to make (ie we may actually do this at home!). Great family experience.

We took a girl's trip to Italy in August and the four of us had the pleasure of taking the pasta making class in Paola's beautiful home in Spoleto. We made pasta outside amongst the abundant olive trees on her property. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a lovely time chatting with Paola and learning about her family. The food was amazing. We highly recommend this class!
Our evening spent cooking with Stefano and Barbara and their sonTiziano was a highlight of ourtrip in Italy. Not only was the lesson highly informative and hands but the family was so warm and welcoming that it felt like spending an evening with friends. Fortunately for us, that evening, we the only students. The ingredients we used were so fresh and flavorful. We started the evening in their backyard which had incredible views of Spoleto with a glass of Prosecco, home cured olives, meats ,Gorgonzola and wonderful conversation. their son, Siztiz helped to translate, however both Stefano and Barbara spoke pretty good English. We started with making homemade Tagliatelle, then made a fresh bruschetta, followed by a fresh truffle sauce. We dined Al fresco on a beautiful night under an apricot tree and finished with gelato ( Barbara has won many awards representing Italy in gelato competitions) and homemade Limoncello. We had to force ourselves to leave because it was so memorable. It you have an opportunity to spend an evenly with this lovely family, just on it!
My two sisters and I attended Paula's pasta making class today. Paula was warm and very welcoming and we loved visiting her beautiful family home and amazing garden. It was so nice to meet the family members. Paula explained the process for making ravioli and tagliatelle to us very clearly and patiently and we can't wait to try it out when we get home. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace on a lovely summer evening eating a delicious meal and chatting with Paula. We highly recommend this experience!
We had a great experience with Paula making tagliatelle. We went as a couple. The meal what was served after was the tagliatelle we made along with some local food and wine. Recommended.
This was truly a highlight to our trip. We had so much fun making our own pasta and ravioli. The meal and wine were delicious. Paola was so kind and lovely. Her family is lucky to have her.
Fantastic experience!! Paula was extremely charming , engaging and hospitable. Great food wine and company. We highly recommend this experience..
