If you're in the hands of Super Mario, then you're in for a fantastic tour. The meeting location was very easy to find, and after being greeted by Mario, our tour started. We had a large group, but Mario engaged with everyone. His knowledge was delivered with great depth and detail, and his enthusiasm was contagious. You can tell he truly loves his job, his country, and the town of Split. Despite the heat of the day, my husband and I had a great time and learned so much about Split and its rich history. I would highly recommend doing this tour, and make sure you stick around at the end to ask any extra questions you might have. If you are visiting Split for the first time, this tour is a highly recommended experience. The tour is very well organized and offers an excellent introduction to the history, culture, and traditions of the city. The guide makes every explanation entertaining thanks to his knowledge. In addition, he offers very good recommendations on where to eat, have a drink, and discover charming corners, which makes the experience even more useful for enjoying the city. Excellent tour and especially, guide. The tour starts with a great historical framework. You travel through 2000 years of history. A mark of a super tour guide is if they leave you with tools you can use throughout your stay. Mario did exactly that. We learned the indica if various groups and eras that we could see throughout the city and thus, the learning and fun continued long after our tour ended. Great amount of time and detail. Personable, fun guide. Incredible value.
