We start our cruise leaving the Split Port and following the sun as we see the views of the charming Marjan Park Forest with the Adriatic showering the pebble beaches along its seaside. As we navigate around the area we come close to Čiovo Island as the sun slowly sets with the sound of music and completes the description of what we think is a perfect summer evening in Dalmatia. An excellent and enjoyable speedboat ride towards the sunset. The driver and tour guide was fantastic—positive, friendly, and fun. So, if you’re heading out on a sunset trip, ask for Jonny.
Our tour was supposed to include a stopover in Marjan Park (which we were most interested in) and Copco Island. It was marketed that way on Tripadvisor anyway. Instead, the boat went like 20-30 minutes, stayed in the sea for 30 minutes (for people who wanted to swim) and then returned to the starting point. The guide Laura was lousy, informed only where and when the toilet was open, nothing more. Sadly, we got a regular boat trip instead of a super complained ”Cruise”.
Nana is such a nice lady and guide! Absolutely phenomenal. She made photos of us, gave us small talk if we felt like it, gave her best to make our evening enjoyable and made an already beautiful and fun activity even better. Great experience.
