Description
Enjoy over 145 years of brewing history as the guides take you through the interactive brewery tour. Learn in a guided small group with a maximum of 15 travelers about all of the ingredients that go into the award-winning brews and hear about the state of the art brewing process used today. The tour ends with a tasting, where you’ll get to enjoy samples of the beer as the knowledgeable guides talk you through the different styles and flavors in the range.

Visit the iconic Speight's Brewery - located in the heart of Dunedin. Your 75 minute experience will include a tour through both the historic and modern floors of the Brewery that has been located on the same site since the mid 1800's. Finish off the the Tasting Room for up to 20 minutes of Beer appreciation, we will even show you how to pour the perfect beer!

What a fantastic experience! We learned all about the history behind the brewery, from how it started to the brewing process, and it was fascinating to see the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every beer. Thomas, our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the tour both informative and entertaining. The highlight was definitely getting to try a great range of different beers. Each one had its own unique flavour, and it was a fun way to discover styles we probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for something different to do, this is well worth it. A brilliant experience from start to finish - great atmosphere, friendly staff, and an excellent mix of history, education, and tasting. We'd happily do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Fantastic thing to do in Dunedin! Great tour and Thomas was incredibly experienced and took lots of time and was great at answering our very technical questions (was just us two on the tour) definitely worth the price!
We had a great time. Martin - our tour guide - was funny and smart. He knew what he was talking about. The time in the brewery past super fast. (Bring a jumper it can be a bit cold) The highlight was the tasting in the end. We got lucky because a few weeks before our tour - Speights had there 150th anniversary - so we had more special flavors to try. Thank you very much speights brewery for this experience.
