I have taken dozens of boat trips around the world, and unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences I have had. This is *not* a relaxing sightseeing tour to Grama Bay. It is a high-speed party boat. If that is what you are looking for, that's fine—but it should be advertised honestly so customers know what they are booking. The skipper repeatedly drove at unnecessarily high speed, made sharp turns and raced other boats just to entertain passengers. Before booking I specifically asked whether people usually get seasick because I am prone to it. I was simply told that "people don't usually get sick because it is a speedboat." Nobody mentioned the thrill-ride style of driving. Music played at maximum volume almost the whole day. Several passengers became heavily drunk, shouting, dancing and behaving wildly while the crew encouraged them instead of controlling the situation. The food was also much poorer than advertised. We did not receive everything that was listed, and at Grama Bay we were told food and drinks would not be served because there were restaurants there, despite being told not to bring our own food. The worst part was the crew's attitude. I never complained about the music, the drunk passengers or the party atmosphere. I simply answered honestly when they repeatedly asked if I was feeling well and said I was beginning to feel seasick. Instead of showing concern, the skipper and coordinator stopped the boat, confronted me in front of everyone, loudly asked other passengers if they were happy, and told me that if I didn't like it I should book a private tour. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. After that, they drove even faster and turned the music up again. It honestly felt like they were punishing me for not looking happy. If you want a loud party boat with drinking and high-speed driving, you may enjoy this trip. If you are looking for a pleasant sightseeing excursion, I would recommend choosing another company.
There was over 20 persons on the speedboat which all did not have seats. There was no life jackets which should be compulsory. We were informed there would be lifejackets. The sea was not calm so really the trip should not have proceeded and especially when no life jackets were available. Also it was not explained when booking that person would have to wade in off the boat. As it was very rocky and dangerous. All this should be clearly explained when booking. After all itches 60 euro which is not cheap. It's actually overpriced. There is a big hype for grandma Bay which was a total letdown. The guide and driver was 1st class. Recommend life jackets and less persons on the boat
The tour was excellent with lots of good vibes! It was well organized, and the guide and boat captain helped make the the trip fun. The music playlist was great and got all of us in a good mood right from the start. Lunch included chicken salad sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a piece of cheese pie. Bushi, our guide was always checking in on us and making sure we had drinks. He also took really great photos of everybody inside the blue cave. There were lots of stop along the way for caves and swimming and beaches. Overall, it was a fantastic trip!
brilliant caves/sea... terrible loud music the whole time..not a moment of quiet...like being on a roller coaster ride...felt sick from all the turbulence...sooooo many people, even some of us falling over each other....just a booze cruise -young testosteroned males piloting, showing off... not recommended
Excellent day in a very young and friendly Mood. Our skipper, Mathias and his brother were excellent riders and created a very fun and festive Mood. They listened to their passengers and even added an unforeseen cave on the program. The tour was supposed to last 8 hours, it lasted 9 hours. I highly recommend both for the beautiful places we discovered and for the very friendly crew. Thank you very much for this very nice time of shared life.
If you want both adrenaline and relaxation, go for this trip. The speedboat part gets your heart pumping, waves splashing, sea breeze whipping. Then the stops in the caves, on pebbled beaches, snorkeling (our own) as company said that they dont provide anymore so we had to take ours, clear water balance it out perfectly. The staff were great: fun, friendly, but also professional and safety-conscious. We got drinks, snorkel gear, guidance, everything we needed. Took so many photos! Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Our family loved this eight-hour boat trip! We visited many caves, beaches, and a beautiful canyon as well. Our teenagers were jumping from the cliffs on all the beaches, and that made the day for them! Byrek and sandwiches, as well as sodas, water, and beer, were included in the price, making it an easy trip. You can also purchase drinks, food, and ice cream at Grama Bay Beach (and this is required if you wish to obtain a key to the toilet located behind the restaurants). The scenery was amazing, and the staff were attentive and helpful.
The experience was mixed. I had in no way expected a party boat. I had booked the trip with my girlfriend as a surprise for my parents at 60. We were very surprised when the music was played at a very high level and we were among a 22-year-old steward and an assistant of the same age. We thought it was a guided tour with a lot of information, but after all you visited many places, however you must be happy to swim. Since that is mainly what the trip is about. The trip home became dangerous as the weather changed and large waves came. Which predicted that we were going to another harbor and were shipped by bus to the city. However, one must say that our 22-year-old driver, was extremely professional when it came to safety and get us alive to the harbor. Impressive! However unpleasant experience. However, we never got him after the episode and never ended up getting his number so we could get sent the pictures he took of us.
We had one of the best boat trips ever with TripMe.Today! From start to finish, everything was so well organized. The staff were super friendly, the music was fun, and the drinks kept flowing. The stops at the beaches and caves were breathtaking I’ve honestly never seen water so clear and nature so beautiful. This tour made me fall in love with Albania, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends back home!
There were 20 of us on the boat... it’s not a small boat like the pictures, it’s a great speed boat. The music was so loud that we couldn't talk. We had to ask to lower because it would last for 6 hours. Otherwise the landscapes are breathtaking and the water is amazing. I recommend this experience for people who want to party.
