A lovely journey through the spectacular south of Mauritius!

The South Mauritius Scenic and Culture Tour is a must for anyone wanting to experience the breathtaking beauty and vibrant culture of southern Mauritius. Every stop was more captivating than the last, making this one of the true highlights of our trip. A big thank you to our guide, Aniket, who was professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and wonderfully funny. His warm personality and engaging stories brought the day to life, and the spotless, comfortable vehicle made the journey an absolute pleasure. The itinerary was outstanding. We visited the volcanic crater, the Black River Gorges viewpoint, Chamarel Waterfall, a Hindu temple, the Seven Coloured Earths, and a rum distillery. Each stop revealed a different and unforgettable side of Mauritius, leaving us in awe of its dramatic landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to savour each location without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a memorable, well-paced, and exceptional way to explore the south of Mauritius, I highly recommend this tour.

Fab day out and great value for money

Fab experience our driver was friendly, informative with lots of information and advice She was prepared as well as for the sudden changes in weather Tour was really good. However we all felt a little bit rushed at each location but that is down to itinerary and not the guide Our driver did make sure we completed all our itinerary despite running a little bit later than the allotted time The only part of the tour I would suggest be removed is the visit to the shop to see how ships are made/ souvenir shop This would save time for the other activities

Great day out.

Had a great half day looking around the South of the island with our guide Saroj. Picked up right on time, in a nice air conditioned car. Saroj was a great guide, shared lots of information about the island and all the different sites we visited. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see the South of Mauritius.

Highly recommended - visit the main sights on the south at your own pace

I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the main sights at your own pace and in your own time, guided by a local. I booked this as a solo traveller with limited time here in Mauritius to see the sights in the south of the island on my day off from being out here for work. It was easy to book and I had advance communication with the company on WhatsApp confirming the details and pick-up/ drop-off, which they were able to arrange for me from my hotel. My guide Ishan was fantastic - he arrived early, was courteous, attentive and friendly. He made sure I felt safe as a solo female traveller. He had a lot of knowledge and stories as a Mauritian and was happy to answer any questions. He was careful to ensure that I felt happy with the itinerary and gave me the option to tailor the day to accommodate my preferences - to spend as much or as little time as I wanted at each place. The geopark and 7 sands at Chamarel were a highlight, but all the suggested sights are worth a visit, including the rum distillery tour with which we finished.

South Tour Mauritius

Guide Mayurr took us to the most beautiful sights in the south of Mauritius. It was never boring. We wanted to have a German-speaking guide, which unfortunately was not available. So we communicated in English, which was not a problem in this case. I can only recommend this tour.
