Itinerary
The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country, with a width of 25 meters (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft). Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days.
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in South Iceland with a whooping 196 ft (60 m) cascade. The waterfall is loved by travelers because you can actually walk behind it! (only in summer). Step behind the curtain of water and marvel at Iceland’s South Coast from a completely new perspective.
Sólheimajökull Glacier is a glacial tongue and part of the mighty Myrdalsjokull Glacier. With icy crevasses, deep blue colors, and rugged scenery, Solheimajokull is a top South Iceland glacier attraction!
Reynisdrangar Sea Cliffs stand under the Reynisfjall Mountain at the end of a dramatic stretch of black sand beach. They are towering, spiky basalt sea stacks jutting out from the ocean 66 meters (217 ft) into the air.
The most beautiful black sand beach in the world is located in Iceland, and it is called 'Reynisfjara' in Icelandic. Be careful of the tidal waves, but be sure to check out the cave on the beach that was carved out by the ocean waves.

Our guide was Iga, she was really kind and helpfully for everything you need, the best tour girls i have ever met, Everything was exceptional and she makes you feel on a real confident atmosphere.
Hi there, thank you for your kind words! Feeling looked after and at ease on a full-day tour is what turns a good trip into the best one. Glad it all came together for you. Arctic Adventures Team
The email message that I received said the meeting time was 8:00 am on July 3, 2026. We went to the meeting location prior to that time. It was raining and cold. The small bus did not come until a few minutes before 9:00 am while our meeting station was the first stop to pick up the travelers. We were wondering if the meeting time can be improved to reflect the real meeting time for the future customers? Waiting on a normal day is one thing, and waiting for almost one hour in a cold and raining day for a hour is unacceptable.
Landed in Iceland the night before, this was a great intro trip to the beauty of Iceland and getting some useful trivia from our guide Sergio who kept us entertained all day. Expect it to be busy with tourists at the attractions, however, still plenty of great photo opportunities and to see some great landscapes.
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to write this up. The South Coast right after touching down is a strong way to kick off an Iceland trip. Sounds like the day gave you a good foundation, thank you for joining us! Arctic Adventures Team
Well executed day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Alex our tour guide was informative with great practical tips. Bring a snack as we had lunch quite late.
Hi Annabelle, thank you for your kind words. Lunch on the South Coast day can run later than people expect depending on the group's pace at each stop, so the snack tip is a fair one. Happy to hear you enjoyed the day! Arctic Adventures Team
The south coast small group tour was exceptional and our tour guide Isra clearly knows what he is doing. He is very approachable and always had our best interest at heart. He made sure we were taken care of and got the most out of the adventure.
Hi there, thanks for your kind words. Being looked after well on the South Coast is what makes the day feel like an actual adventure rather than a checklist. Glad it worked out that way for you. Arctic Adventures Team
Maria was amazing! We had the best time. She was so prompt and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the entire tour! It was a great value for the price! We would not have enjoyed it as much if we explored on our own.
Hi Laura, so glad to hear this. The South Coast rewards guests who see it with someone who knows what they're looking at, and it sounds like that's what made the day for you. Arctic Adventures Team
Our tour guide Maria was amazing! She was kind, funny, and passionate about sharing her knowledge of Iceland. The tour spots were beautiful and the whole experience was elevated because of how great Maria was with our group.
Hi there, really glad you shared this. The South Coast day is a long one, and a guide who makes it feel effortless is what turns a good tour into a great one. Thanks for joining us! Arctic Adventures Team
My wife and I visited Iceland several days ago and toured the South Shore area. We enjoyed being guided by Slavi. He definitely had a lot to share about his adopted home. His enthusiasm was contagious and we learned a lot about Iceland as a whole. The rating was short of five stars because Slavi almost talked too much, and I sensed the other visitors wanted some silence to “marinate” the info presented by Slavi.
Hi Ken, thanks so much for taking the time to write this. Lovely to hear the guide's enthusiasm came through, and it's a fair observation that a long day sometimes needs some quiet time alongside the stories. Hope to see you again. Arctic Adventures Team
Bruno was the perfect tour guide, the tour has many attractions and stops, we were also, lucky to meet a fox !
Hi Luigi, thanks so much for the kind words. A fox sighting is a proper Iceland moment, not many guests get that one. Glad the South Coast day was a memorable one. Hope you're back soon! Arctic Adventures Team
Helgi was great! His second tour and was great!
Hi there, thank you for the review. The South Coast on a good weather day is hard to beat. Lovely to hear it was a strong one. Arctic Adventures Team
