It's hard not to congratulate our two super guides "Pierre & Loic " who thanks to their talent and the perseverance of Pierre for hunting in the Northern Lights and the discovery of a farm of Rennes Family with sleigh ride and knowledge of the wilderness of Loic, we spent 3 exceptional and fantastic days. We had to do 340 kms at night and go to Sweden to see the Aurora as what the term hunting is well justified. The adventure Artic with Loic took us to the wilderness , to the shores of a frozen lake , or to fish 80 cm of ice had to be pierced . After learning orientation and a small fire without matches or lighters , we devoured the excellent sausages planned in case of unsuccessful fishing , which was the case. Congratulations to the organization of Marie at Nordic Odyssey and our 2 guides we highly recommend
Very nice walk, nice guide and in addition we discover many tips to start again in autonomy.
Best experience we did in Rovaniemi! Mostly down to the fantastic guide who shared his passion and knowledge so generously with us. Didn’t catch a fish! But the whole experience was really great.
Our guide Justine was excellent, kind, and above all with a lot of knowledge and know-how to share. I liked his explanations and learned a lot during the getaway.
Thanks to Justine, Antoine, Jérémie and Camille for helping to make our trip to Finnish Lapland an unforgettable experience. Charming guides explaining nature, customs, history and many other things to us in detail. We did 5 activities in groups of up to 8 people with the agency and we highly recommend it.
We did the snowshoe adventure with ice fishing, fire and survival with Jérémi. Jérémi is first and foremost an expert in the knowledge of the forest and its different facets, but he is also passionate and an educator. We had a great time with him and the children were delighted with what they learned with him. THANKS!
This was a great trip. It was unusually cold (even for Finland) but our guide, Leon, made sure we were warm and happy the whole time. We snow shoed down through a beautiful forest to a frozen lake where there was a tipi. A fire was lit and we had a warming drink and snack before trying our hand at ice fishing. Leon was very knowledgeable and flipped between french and English with ease as he explained how to light a fire and we cooked sausages. Then a walk back through the forest in our snow shoes. Loved it.
Awesome excursion and secretariat on top. Sylvie, Caro, Vero and Églantine are simply awesome, a real pleasure to communicate with them for logistics prior to the tour, they ensured a remarkable Customer Service. The Hyppolyte guide was able to take the excursion with a master's hand and even taught us how to survive in hostile environments and to stock up on food thanks to his remarkable fishing techniques despite a lake covered by a frozen layer for several centimeters! Great professionalism from the guide and secretaries who left us unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this agency!
Our guide Gabriel turned this activity into a real experience. He shared his survival tips with us in French and English with simple vocabulary, which made it very accessible to us. With a compass and a map, you will have to find your way through the forest. Hopefully, you'll be lucky enough to catch a fish then!
A very great experience we could have with this guided tour ! Our guide was not a local but knew very well and brought a great atmosphere. We would recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in nature and would like to gain some survival experience.
