Pretty views, but the tour guide rushed through the trip. Only minimal stop options for photos. In Betws-y-Coed, we were supposed to have 45 minutes to explore and instead had 10 to 15 minutes to take photos of a small waterfall and walk across a bridge back to the van. The van is comfortable but vision is limited from the small windows. Hard to see the sites we drove past quickly! The tour guide is definitely knowledgeable about the region - so that was good. He did provide us a cup of tea and Welsh cake... but it was consumed on the road, not at a stop, so we had to be careful not to spill it all over. So, our review of the experience is mixed overall.
Trip was amazing, was a small group so more personalised. Trevor was engaging and very informative. Took us to some beautiful spots with great photo opportunities. Gin tasting at Aber Falls was the best way to finish the tour. Highly recommend the Pistachio Cream Liqueur
A fun, informative good value experience with an excellent driver/guide. Just the right amount of time.
We hired Tudno Tours (Trevor - a retired geography and history teacher) and set off for Snowdonia (Eryri in Welsh) National Park. It was really "chucking" down rain, so we didn't get the views we wanted, but Trevor made up for it with history and stories. We stopped in Betws-y-Coed a picturesque village set near waterfall, one detour to see a dragon (The artist also works on GOT.) and three castles--one traditional Welsh and the other two Edward I Long Shanks (Caernarfon and Conwy Castle). It was the highlight of our stay in northern Wales!
A perfect ”short” tour to Snowdonia. You get a chans to see a lot in just a few hours. A very nice guide who tells you a lot about Wales history and the Welsh language.
We had a great tour with Trevor and were able to make a few changes from the standard tour which allowed us to see Beddegelert and do the Great Orme drive at the end of the tour. Trevor was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Snowdonia which made kfor a great trip.
