Edo was awesome on this small group tour. Did a wonderful job educating us on all of the toured areas. Never felt rushed. Great tour!
We were excited to visit SP, but a little worried about the amount of time— and then a little more when we found out it would be raining. HOWEVER, if we knew then what we know now, we wouldn’t have worried. Dooley made every part of our journey as interesting as the Icelandic landscape. His timely commentary and related stories of his childhood in northern Iceland were informative and entertaining. He shared of himself and his knowledge, which made the tour feel more homey, He kept us on a tight schedule, while allowing for adjustments when people wanted an impromptu stop or needed a little more time. We had fun in the rain, the whipping wind- and finally in the sun! We were rewarded with a rainbow and a beautiful patch of weather just at the height of our trip. Dooley is an excellent representative of your company and your country; His grandmother would be proud! We had a great day and will recommend this tour and Dooley! Thank you!
Vjeran gave us a fantastic tour around the peninsula with his informative and witty commentary. He explained the stunning nature sights as well as giving us an insight into Icelandic life. Coming from the southern hemisphere it seems expensive but well worth the money.
A fantastic tour through this remarkable peninsula with boundless waterfalls, near vertical mountains with the deepest green. Moss growing over lava fields, basalt cliffs with boundless sea life all from the comfort of a warm bus with Kristi being an informative and entertaining guide. Well worth it if you have one day but the driving option gives you an opportunity to see so much more.
Vjeran was wonderful and made the trip so much fun. Loved the tour and all the brutal sites. Arturo the bus drive a great part of Vjeran team
What a great day. Vjeran is a fantastic guide. Interesting tour and great stops. I Highly recommend it.
Excellent tour. Beautiful scenery. Tour guide Karin (?) had the right mix of narration, music and quiet.
Excellent commentary, very interesting, attentive to the guests, and incredible sites
It was a good tour but rushed , did not have enough time to enjoy each place properly, they say 40 or 50 minutes but give you 15 minutes less at each place that makes you feel super rushed everywhere. Also our driver had a terrible attitude and badly wanted to take this break and was arguing with the guide in when the right time was to take his break in the middle of our tour.
We are sorry the pace felt rushed. The full itinerary was completed and the scheduled stop times were maintained, with longer visits at Kirkjufell, Djúpalónssandur, Arnarstapi, and shorter stops at other locations. The tour also returned to the harbor at the planned time. We are concerned by your comments about the driver’s attitude and will review this internally.
The itinerary and time allocation was perfect. Spots were all fantastic especially in a five hours tour. Well organised! The guide was informative but without passions. He gave us a feeling that he was reading some leaflets in a flat tune. You can’t imagine nearly all the participants fell into sleep. A passionate guide would surely make a big difference. At the end, no laugh, no clapping hands.
