This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide in Olympia, Saskia, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. Her stories and explanations about Olympia were wonderful. This is a must visit archaeological site. We enjoyed our stop at the local market and were made to feel very welcome with tastes of oil oil, balsamic vinegar & hand made candy. The Honey Farm was a family business and we were treated as family. Our driver, Kossos, was friendly and provided many tidbits on Katakolon. Our drive as private and comfortable. All in all, this was one of our best days in Greece.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable tour and that you appreciated the archaeological site of Olympia as well as the local experiences along the way. It’s wonderful to know that the guide’s knowledge and engaging explanations made the visit even more memorable. We are also very pleased that you enjoyed the warm hospitality at the local market and honey farm, as well as the comfort and service provided by your driver. We truly appreciate your comments and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in Greece in the future.
Once you get to Olympia site, you have to spend extra money to get into both the museum and the Olympic site. Then, you stop to taste olive oil on the way back. There is NO food involved.
Dear Jane, Your booking clearly stated that tickets to the museum were not included. Additionally, lunch is not provided during the tour. However, you will have the opportunity to taste honey, diples, olives, cheese, and wine Thank you
This was by far our most favorite excursion of the whole 10 day cruise we took. Small group made it better and was a nice 15 person, comfortable air conditioned van. The best part was Clio’s Bee Farm and I would absolutely do it again and again!!
Thank you so much too! I hope to welcome you again in the future!
Very interesting ! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! Learned much. It is an exclusion you would only do once but so thankful we did
