Lujan de Cuyo, the Cradle of Malbec, boasts beautiful country houses, tree lined roads and wide vineyards along which we plunge into the Wine Road. Led by insider guides, we will visit three world-class vineyards and wineries. Walking around their facilities we will learn different ways of wine making process, as well as we plung into the steps to taste a good wine. After this, we will enjoy a gourmet lunch paired with the best wines of the region and surrounded by a beautiful environment and the magestic Andes Range in the distance. We visited a fantastic selection of wineries in Lujan de Cuyo and enjoyed a lovely and filling lunch in a beautiful setting. Our guide, Lina, was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful time on this tour as first time visitors to the Mendoza wine region.
We booked our holiday through Trailfinders and SAK are there go to guides etc in Argentina. They were great. We were picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel, water was produced from the start. We had a 3 winery tour already booked which included lunch on day 1 which was lovely. We got to try loads of lovely wines. We then booked a 2nd trip direct with SAK a similar tour that went into a different valley and this included a fantastic traditional Asado BBQ, there was SO MUCH food but all delicious; again washed down with lots of lovely wines. Our guide was great and gave us so much info about Mendoza and Argentina. Would recommend them.
Great experience from start to finish - great choice of wineries. Incredible lunch and wine pairing at Norton winery. Guide (Julian) very knowledgeable about the heritage of wine in the region.
