We wanted to have a unique experience while traveling to Tokyo and are so glad we decided to do this! Eri was an amazing host and teacher. She spoke fluent English and we had a great time learning to cook from her. She also shared various tips like shopping for Japanese knives and recommendations for the next time we visit Japan. We learned how to make okonomoyaki and buta kimchi (pork belly and kimchi stir fry) which were both easy to learn and make. Eri gave us alternative ingredient suggestions in case we couldn’t find them in the stores back home. Would definitely return when we come back to Japan! Thank you again for a wonderful experience :)
thank you for watm review. I enjoyed time with you, too. Yes, come back to see me when you visit Japan again! Eri
Me and my family had a fantastic traditional cooking class with Eri. The Okonomiyaki was really tasty and we also had the grocery tour afterwards. 10/10 Experience and we would definitely come again next time. Highly recommend!!
Hi Eric, thank you for comming and such a warm review. I was happy to share time with you and to see your wonderful family relationships. Ask me anything if you have any questions. See you again, Eri
Eri was absolutely wonderful! I met with her at Asagaya Station, and we drove a short distance to her house where the lesson was. And I found out that I was doing a few things incorrectly when I'd attempt Okonomiyaki back home. Eri even taught me a second recipe as a bonus! Absolutely worth it and the food was awesome!
Thank you for comming. I hope you can enjoy Okonomiyaki home!
Eri picked me up from the station and dropped me back after as well since her house was a little further from it. She was very knowledgeable about cooking Japanese cuisine and the vegetarian diet. I am not a talented home cook by any means but Eri was patient and guided me in all the steps so I could make it again later. Additionally, she gave very useful pointers on accessible substitutions in my home country. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning more about Japanese cuisine. It was a great experience to have in Tokyo!

Eri's class was fantastic. She's a wonderful teacher, good was excellent and Eri went out of her way to tell us about Tokyo and Japanese cooking. I'd recommend doing this class early in the trip so you'll be able to do some of the things Eri tells you about.
Hi William, thank you for comming and spending time with me. I hope you can cook Okonomiyaki at home nicely! Feel free to ask me if you have anything. Thank you, Eri
The cooking experience with Eri was excellent, I was able to learn a lot about Japanese cuisine and the tricks for a perfect “Osakastyle” okonomiyaki. We also had great conversations about various topics. Unfortunately, the time went by a little too quickly :-). When I am back in Japan (Tokyo), I will certainly book a course again. The experience rounded off my vacation and getting to know the Japanese culture, I can only recommend it to everyone :-).
Hi Nico, thank you for coming to my house and cooking together. I enjoyed talking with you, too! I hope your business will go successfully and your next trip to Japan will be wonderful again. See you again, Eri
Eri's class was a highlight of our trip! She provided basically a one-on-one traditional Japanese cooking experience. Learning how to make sushi rolls and tempura was a lot of fun and a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.
Thank you for coming to see me and also for a warm review. If you find anything you don’t understand, feel free to ask me. thank you, Eri
