It is fabulous to see Lamborghini and Ferrari, tmb the tasting of Parmeggiano cheese and balsamic , plus the visit to the Villa de Mario
Amazing small tour, Alexandro was knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to spend the day with. He has a great personality, well spoken and took us to amazing locations, fantastic all day tour.
Very nice visit. Alessandro is very friendly and gave us a lot of explanations. We recommend this tour!
Alessandro was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, spoke excellent English and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. It is his own company and he goes to great lengths to choose high quality venues to show off the country that he is obviously proud of. We visited a working farm/factory where we witnessed the entire process of making Parmesan cheese (from cow to final packaging), got to tour the Ferrari museum, went on an absolutely excellent wine tour and tasting of a beautiful family run winery and the day was topped off with a delicious traditional meal in a rustic country restaurant. We would 100% book with him again and recommend him highly!
Everything was wonderful! Alessandro was an excellent guide. We started with the Parmesan cheese factory where we were able to see the whole process including the cows!! A great tasting of the different aging types! I loved the 40 months, my husband the 30 months. We continued to the Lamborghini museum. Then we journeyed to the Balsamic tasting tour and a wonderful lunch at their home. We never thought the process of making the Balsamic was so strict and long. They had to invest 12 years of their life to produce the first batch! Wow!! We went on to the Ferrari museum where we were able to follow Enzo’s life and rewards! At the end of the day. Alessandro took us back to the train station and bit us farewell!! Thanks for everything Alessandro! We had a great time!!
Valentina was a fantastic guide. Bring your appetite and skip breakfast! The dairy farm was remote and rustic, everyone there was very nice. The Parmigiano Reggiano was delicious with nice pairings. The Lamborghini museum was nice, but you don’t need a lot of time here to see it all. At the Gambigliani Zoccoli villa, the food was fantastic, everyone was hospitable and Mario, the owner introduced himself and brought us several items during our lunch. The Enzo Ferrari museum was a highlight for my husband. All in all, a wonderful day!
The Parmesean and Balsamic producers were fantastic! Allesandro was so informative about the local products. The auto museums were fun to see with a teen.
There was so much to love about this tour - from the in depth look at the manufacture of Parmigiano Reggiano to the experience of seeing the same Ferrari F1 cars I used to cheer on with my dad growing up. We even got to witness the Parmigiano association's validation process, which only occurs every couple of months. Excellent communication - We were able to change the tour from Enzo Ferrari museum to the Maranello Museum with no issues. Alessandro was very accommodating and reasonable. Lunch was in a rustic restaurant in the outskirts of town near Maranello, and it could only be described as heavenly. It was FILLING and good! Alessandro made us feel like we were visiting these places with a close friend and his open, genuine demeanor made the day so much more special. He's got a natural ability to teach others!
Thanks, Joseph, it was an enjoyable experience showing my land and its local products with such enthusiastic and passionate travellers.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Parmigiana cheese factory and the Ferrari museum. Ferrari had a great film outlining Enzo Ferrari and his passion for racing. Lamborghini had some beautiful cars on display plus a simulator for the enthusiast. Alessandro was very knowledgeable and focused on his guests we highly recommend this tour. We had lunch at a delightful osteria where the locals eat and where authentic food based on the region was served.
Thanks, Sonia for your very nice review, I've really enjoyed the time with you and Antonio. You've been two very passionate and kind guests. I wish you a happy journey across the rest of Italy.
