Our guide, Sasa, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The pace of the tour was good, but if you want to have more time to wander and explore on your own, I would recommend arranging your own transportation back, as we had to leave right away to meet our driver. There is a train station right in Pompeii, so that would be easy enough to do. We went in a very hot day, so the pre-are arranged transportation in an air-conditioned van was perfect. Also, Sasa took us to shaded areas whenever possible. Note: plan to leave early to get to the pickup point. We left from Positano, and the start time was listed as 11:00 but I received a text message at 10:15 saying the driver would be at our meeting point at 10:35.

Incredible experience. Pompei was a sight, city frozen in time. Our guide Sasa was so insightful and brought such humor to the day. Pick up and drop off were a breeze. I even left my glasses in the car and the drivers were accommodating to bring them back to me: highly recommend using this group.

The transportation to Pompeii provided by Trip Advisor was exceptional. Antonio pointed out things on the drive to and from Pompeii to Positano. He stopped along the way for photos and a lemon sorbet. And Frankie, the Pompeii tour guide, was exceptional. He was so knowledgeable and offered wonderful stories that helped us visualize life at that time. And he made us laugh. But also so important is that he was concerned about our safety walking on very uneven paths. All in all, this was a great and memorable experience.
