Sài Gòn is the biggest economic center in Việt Nam, attracting a huge number of immigrants from across the country. Those people follow their “Sài Gòn dream” for better lives with many ambitions and opportunities. However, nobody cares how many Saigonese are immigrants (all of them are given a warm welcome), but they do care a lot for the amazing, different cuisines coming from every corner of the country. In a few hours’ time, we will drive you to different districts of Sài Gòn, visit the food streets, and enjoy as many dishes as you can!

We pick up guests at several hotels; your hotel might be the first, so please be ready by 05:30p.m. You will join our friendly guide and driver for an exciting tour of the vibrant and busy streets of Hồ Chí Minh City, where you’ll discover the city’s unique food culture and culinary scene.
Our first stop will be at a renowned restaurant known for their fresh and delicious spring rolls, which will serve as the perfect appetizer to kick off your food tour of Hồ Chí Minh City.
After that, we’ll head to the most popular Bánh Mì spot in the city, where you can choose from a variety of fillings to create your perfect Bánh Mì Thịt.
Next, we’ll take you to try the famous Hủ Tíu noodle shop – a beloved dish in the southern region of Việt Nam. You’ll have the chance to taste the authentic flavors and learn about the history and ingredients that make this dish so special.
We can’t explore the vibrant food culture of Việt Nam without experiencing the famous hot pot dish. Our next destination is a popular hot pot restaurant known for its wide variety of flavorful broths and ingredients. *Your food tour wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a fresh and delicious dessert made with locally grown tropical fruits. * Finally, we’ll drop you off back at your pick-up point in the city center as per your request.

We had a delightful experience on this food tour with Daniel. The itinerary offered an impressive variety of street food—we sampled a total of 12 dishes, each showcasing a different aspect of the local cuisine. My personal favorite was the Bún Cá (fish noodle soup), which stood out for its flavor and freshness. The tour was very filling and well-paced, and having a knowledgeable local like Daniel made a big difference. He not only guided us to great food spots but also shared helpful context about the dishes and the area. Overall, a highly enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

We did a private tour during the Tet holiday week so some of the stops were closed when we arrived so on the fly changes had to be made. We wondered, if this was known, perhaps the operator shouldn’t have offered the tour at all? Flower street was closed down so we basically just walked through some dark side roads with all the shops closed down. We found the tour wasn’t anything special. 4 food stops with plenty of walking the back areas of the city. Interesting to see but nothing really too exciting as most street vendors were closed. A little pricey for the tour considering the timing. Perhaps it’d be better outside of the Tet but we wouldn’t have been disappointed if we didn’t do this.

Tet is the most important holiday of the year in Vietnam, and many local family-run vendors and small businesses temporarily close to celebrate with their loved ones. Unfortunately, despite our careful planning, some unexpected closures still occurred on the day of your tour. Regarding Flower Street and several food stops, we understand how disappointing it must have felt when certain locations were not accessible as anticipated. During Tet week, city arrangements and street access can change quickly depending on local authority schedules, and some closures happen with limited notice. Our team and guide did their best to adjust the itinerary on the spot to ensure you could still explore local areas and enjoy authentic dishes, but we sincerely regret that the overall experience felt less vibrant than expected. Your comment about pricing is completely understood. Even during the holiday period, we aim to maintain service quality and provide a meaningful cultural experience. However, we acknowledge that the festive timing may have influenced the atmosphere and availability of street vendors, which is normally one of the highlights of this tour outside of Tet. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us review how we communicate holiday conditions more clearly and how we can better manage expectations during special periods like Tet. This was truly a phenomenal tour in every way, shape, and form. It was all thanks to our tour guide, Daniel - he was extremely knowledgeable, generous, hospitable, and charming, showing us all the hidden food spots in HCMC that we would have never found otherwise. Every spot that we went was truly delicious and authentic. Doing this tour walking was a great choice as you get to see so much of the city up close and see the daily lives of the locals. Furthermore the small group aspect meant we were afforded more opportunities to interact with our guide and bond with fellow group members. Overall, this was a delicious and fun tour, we absolutely got our money’s worth. Would 100% recommend if you’re a foodie or even if you’re not, genuinely an amazing tour.

Warning! You will be seriously disappointed and miss the best food experience ever if you do not sign up for this tour. Fabulous, fun, friendly and knowledgeable local guide. Nothing was too much trouble, went out of his way for us to try authentic food and experience HCMC hidden alley ways and street food - ask for DANIEL. He’s the best.
