⭐☆☆☆☆ Visited Meher Retreat today, and the experience was disappointing right from the beginning. The receptionist at the cash counter was rude. We had an argument over charging half tickets for small kids, and when we said we wouldn't visit again, her response was, "That is your wish." That attitude set the tone for the rest of our visit. Thankfully, they did not charge for children below 2 years. The food was another major disappointment. There were no kid-friendly food options at all. If you're visiting with small children, I strongly recommend carrying your own food. We even asked if they had a simple packet of biscuits for our child, but were told we would have to buy it separately. Everything felt focused on making money rather than providing good hospitality. The food quality was poor. During high tea, I found a small stone in my bhel. When I reported it, the staff casually replied, "Gir gaya hoyega," with no apology or concern. That kind of response is simply unacceptable. The meals were equally disappointing. The so-called Misal Pav was served with bread instead of pav, and the misal itself had very little matki. The dal was watery with barely any lentils, the vegetables were bland, and overall the food lacked taste. Good customer service and decent food are basic expectations for a family outing, but Meher Retreat failed on both counts. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete waste of money and definitely not worth the visit.
Meher Retreat is hands down one of the best family outing spots near Pune. Just a short drive away, it offers delicious food, ample parking, and plenty of space to relax. Kids and parents both have a blast with the activities — from the Pet Zoo with an Ostrich to fun magic shows and temporary tattoos. The staff is warm and helpful, the ticket price is reasonable, and the experience feels worth every penny. I especially loved that there are cots placed around so you can rest and recharge during the day. A perfect mix of fun, comfort, and value — highly recommended!
Not recommended. Food is very worst. Water is also very dirty. They claim they have many things but only they have small water park with 3 slides.
I initially booked my tickets through BanBanjara, but later found out they do not have a tie-up with Meher. I then booked through TripAdvisor instead. I would recommend booking your tickets through TripAdvisor or directly checking with Meher to confirm which websites are officially authorized to book tickets for them.
Overall, it was a great experience. The activities were the highlight—water slides, swimming pools, interactions with pets, and even a tractor ride made it really enjoyable. However, the food quality could definitely be improved. Also, the changing rooms need attention, either in terms of maintenance or increasing their number to handle the crowd better. Still, a fun place to visit, especially for the activities!
Great experience with good food and numerous activities. Kids loved the water activities the most.
It was a good experience. But missed boat ride. Also visitors who come to celebrate special occasion like birthday, Anniversary, there should be special arrangement like a bouquet and announcement at the least.
It was Good Experience. Only thing is that breakfast should have some more option. Staff are good. some more playing option should be added without chargable.
This is not a place to relax. Too much crowded. I do not recommended to visit at all. Its paid jatra. If you love crowd go for it if you want to relax avoid.
Amazing Family Day Out! We just had the best time at Meher Retreat. If you’re looking for a place to truly relax and disconnect with family and friends, this is it. The arrangements were spot on—everything was perfectly timed and well-managed, so we didn't have to stress about a thing. The food was a total highlight; it’s fresh, authentic, and delicious. A huge shoutout for the Hurda Party—the fresh Hurda was incredible and definitely the highlight of our trip! From traditional games to just soaking in the farm vibes, there was plenty to keep both the kids and adults entertained. It’s the perfect spot for some quality bonding in a beautiful agro-tourism setting. Highly recommend it—definitely a must-visit!
