It was a good tour, even though the information shared during the whole day were unsatisfactory. The driver told me after leaving Colombo that the ride will take about 2h. We reached the forest after 3:45h. 😉 Also, I have not been informed that I had to pay the guide on site in cash and I was also not aware of the price. Not ideal… This said, the rest of the tour was fine. The guide was friendly and the tour offered a short glance on the forest, some plants and an impression of the stunning biodiversity here. Depending on your focus, other tours might be more informative or tailored, but it’s good to get a first glance of a rain forest. My highlight: The fresh mango juice in the small restaurant nearby the entrance! Don’t miss…
