Sigiriya also known as the Lion's Rock is a rock fortress and a palace located in the Matale district of Sri Lanka. This ruin is surrounded by gardens, ponds and other structures. Sigiriya was built by King Kassapa and it is included as a World Heritage site. Sigiriya is the best preserved city centre in Asia.
Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains.There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. Location: Dambulla, Matale District, Sri Lanka
Pidurangala rock temple is one of the well known historical places on the island. A part of the Pidurangala rock temple is located at the base of the mountain and rest of the temple is built to close to the pinnacles. Built on this Pidurangala rock are a Buddhist monastery and a cave temple.

The rock climbs were quite hard at times but when you get to the top the view is absolutely amazing. The caves and temples were good.
Sigiriya Rock is amazing. I went around Sigiriya by myself because the driver couldn't get in, but it was very good to have him take me to Pidurangara Rock where I could see the whole Sigiriya after that.

It was a wonderful walk. Communication with the agency was perfect, we have been in touch since I bought the tour. Our driver guides a sweet, friendly Cover and did everything to satisfy our wishes. We got a guide who spoke Italian in Sigyria. I wanted to do after lunch, that by sign delicious lunch, a safari to see elephants. He quickly succeeded. It was an unforgettable day I loved the Island Agency Service

There was a line of people walking the steps to the top. Well worth it. Great time!!! The driver was on time and stopped when we asked.( we wanted breakfast and fruit)
